Hey.

1. Started playing on gg rush&cash tables from start of year with high volume.

2. Already knew the site was questionable so decided to play only rush tables to not get falsely blamed for bumhunting/to not give any opportunity to falsely ban.

3. Won from gg rush tables and leaderboard prices around 50-60k usd.

4. Was on holiday from poker, decided randomly check my acc. noticed mail that they have decided to close my account and it will be done in 14days of receiving this mail.

5. E-mail is very scary, to me it looks like they will confiscate my money's if i dont withdraw in 14days. (asked from others that felt the same way so i share this)

6. Panic withdraw everything (it was 12th day from receiving message), very stressed if they will try to delay the payment and scam me or smthing.

7. Received all the money, very nice.

8. Felt like i need to share this to warn others.

Dear NYpokerking,

It has been decided upon the completion of a thorough review that we no longer can continue offering our services to you and therefore we will close your Olybet account after 14-days of receiving this notification, pursuant to our Main Rules clause 1.3.12.

All funds in your gaming account are secure, you can use them for all Olybet services or withdraw them to the bank account/wallet from which deposits were made within 14 days of receiving this notification until your account is closed. All unused bonuses, tickets, tournament money, etc. must be used before the closure of your account.

Thank you for playing with us! (LOL!!)

Kind regards,
Olybet Team
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the rule.

-1.3.12. Olybet may unilaterally restrict the use of all and/or some of the products and services by the customer, which includes the right to unilaterally terminate the contract with the customer and close the customerÂ’s gambling account without stating a reason, by providing fourteen days of advance notice thereof.

Weird if they are closing your whole olybet acccount if you win too much playing poker. Gues it doesn't matter what skin you are using if you win you are getting canned.

Any graphs?

Because without proof, it doesn't look very convincing to me.

What about screenshot of the email?

Haven't you violated the terms of service?

No reason was told other than this rule. = so given the site's history one can guess what the reason might be.

Unsure of the 14 day wording, but I would hope that the site would cash you out to your deposit method (or bank wire) if you did not withdraw in that 14 day period. It looks to me like you are given the 14 days to use all ancillary assets on the account before its closed, which seems fair (bar if you had a seat in a series which was ending more than 14 days from now, then they should unreg you and convert that to cash or other usable tickets, etc)

As this came directly from Olybet and not the GGnetwork security itself, imo you are not banned from the network. If you have been banned from the network, then its a poorly worded email and should absolutely state that you are no longer welcome at either Olybet or any other site that is on the GGnetwork. Obv would not take such a risk without clarifying first (do not clarify with Olybet)

Sites can ban players for pretty much any reason, so long as they allow them to withdraw any balance. They can also state that if they return to the site/network under again (either under their own name or someone else's) then that account(s) will be closed and all funds forfeited

GG is very good at deflecting everything bad related to their site by blaming it on the different skins.

Also from that 14 day wording, all i can assume is that they would instantly confiscate all your money and you would not be able to have it back, would you not meet the requirements of the 14 day withdrawal request.

It's funny though since they couldn't ban him for "bumhunting" cause he was not playing regular cash tables they would just do a "**** it just ban him without a reason"

All im saying is that dont leave your account alone for more than 2weeks. I really don't see the incentives for me to be lying im not trying to gain anything. This post was just mean't to give a headsup for other players on the site.

I mean, there has been threads on 2p2 for at least 5 years about gg poker banning winners (yes, waaay before it was remotely popular) and pretty much everyone knows that. Hell, if you google "gg poker winning players", the first 2 results will be about them doing so. Usually they come up with some vague reason, seems like they couldn't be bothered anymore.

GGPoker has not and does not ban players for winning,” according to a company statement. “We have only banned players who have violated our Terms of Service agreement by cheating, bum-hunting, colluding, or acting in a way we deem to be predatory. GGPoker maintains a healthy poker ecosystem and works to provide a safe and fair playing environment for all players.”

This is what i get for googling "gg poker winning players" but i guess the algorithm is different for everyone

Read down further the legal argument from card player magazine. 12/30/2020.

I have quite a bit of experience playing Rush&Cash and I can tell you that they will not ban you for winning the promo too much. What is way more likely here is that OP tried to abuse it by either multiple people playing on one account to rank higher (most likely imo) or otherwise trying to abuse the promo.

Is rc still the same you get points depending on the btn you click? He might have abused that. 200 pool lb winners got banned for that imo.

And noone knows what bumhunting in gg actually means. You can sit four tables 12 hours straight and if you manage to win big from the fish that is bumhunting from ggs pov.

There are a lot of ways to play the leaderboard without explicitly breaking the rules or which are very hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

If you want to think that GG banned him for winning too much, that is fine with me too.

So why wouldn't they say it in their message that he was abusing leaderboard then ? They're just too lazy? jeez you're really trying to defend some scummy site that already has a proven past with trying to **** over winning players.

Only way to get the bullseye from your back is to suck on the teat of GG and stream or be affiliated heavily with them. (or be one of the people playing nosebleeds cause it seems bumhunting is alive and well there)

Yes, let us all just trust the brand new account who claims to make $60k while having $160 in cashgame dollars, which implies he is playing micro- to lowstakes. I also do not know his account, which pretty much confirms it. For ****s sake.

Ofcouse they are not gonna disclose to him exactly the methods they figured out he is abusing their promotions. They also don't have to. He very likely knows what he did.

Edit: Decided to do some digging, NYPokerking doesn't appear anywhere in the last few months' NL100 6th place leaderboards (awards $160) or the PLO200 10th place for that matter. Which means he played lower than that and is claiming he made $60k.

Since its just impossible for GG to remove a banned player from the leaderboards.

A lot of it just seems like a coincidence over the short term over so many hands. I'm never playing anything but tournaments there. Pokerstars made up **** and banned me right when i got good at PLO HL. They messaged me about another account being the reason. I asked "What account?" and they kept saying their decision stands. If i lose GG, I'm going to be up **** creek.

You can always check here. Maybe OP wants to tell us what game he played in, but he suddenly got very quiet for some reason.

Poker sites, which are private entities, can close an account for pretty much any reason - so long as they allow the player to withdraw all their balance. Been like this since the beginning

Wtf are you even saying LMAO why would he have any money on his account ???

idk you probably shouldn't start a detective office since you can clearly see him winning the leaderboard twice in a row on 20&21 of April
