My lobby doesn't even load anymore, I just have to try to find a table with people in it and play. The whole website is unraveling at a very quick rate.

It really is interesting to watch unfold, but I have 4 figures on their so that sucks

Thought lock was safe, never had problems until "new software."

The quote above should be bolded and sent to shane and riz, or anyone at lock support.

This whole thing is just absurd.

I am done with this website, I will just stick to live until some regulation happens. I got screwed with FT, now here....

It is getting old.

Re: WARNING: do NOT deposit on Lock until further notice

Thanks for posting this in the Zoo. I agree with others, this issue needs to be addressed by a Lock rep ASAP. This scenario should never happen, and if it does occur, it should be looked into and resolved immediately. To everyone involved, please keep us updated on your situation, thanks.

Re: WARNING: do NOT deposit on Lock until further notice

Its amazing how clueless Lock is regarding customer service........every time an issue arises and players need some assurances that things are OK, Shane and Rizen run away from the forum like p*ssies.

Hopefully for players this situation isnt as bad as it looks.

I also made a successful deposit via cc at the beginning of this month. I am sure there are issues that some may have, and that is unfortunate. I just want to share a positive deposit experience, as I am sure, many others have had. Lock is not perfect obv, but its what we got. This is coming from someone who is fairly patient and is losing patience with Locks customer support system fwiw.

im glad your deposit worked and you got your money. you will have good patients until you have a huge issue like many players who were playing $500+worth of tourneys and they all froze up and u blinded out. when you have a issue like this let us knnow how patient u r waiting 5 days+ for a response from support.

i was going to deposit on lock to test it out and get the 1k bonus but obv not doing that now. i also play at intertops so i get the same games and checks in a week along with unreal good support. to bad they dont take US players anymore. These two threads have def saved me the nightmare of dealing w/ lock. thanks guys

I understand, it is frustrating. I would be mad as well. I'm not saying you don't have a right to be upset. It's just the forum is getting overwhelmed with negative threads and posts. Some are legitimate problems, most are nonsense (shills), and all of them are making people uncomfortable about playing on Lock.

There are going to be risks involved to play IP. This is not new. People will make decisions based upon how much risk they are willing to take. It's also not new that there will be more negative things posted as most only post when they have a problem. As someone who plays on Lock, I just wanted to share some good, albeit, there is a lot of bad.

Good luck with your situation and others!

Re: WARNING: do NOT deposit on Lock until further notice

I think people are exaggerating claims. I know my western union deposit didn't show up within 12 hours so i merely emailed them then another 12 hours later it was in my account. Not saying it hasn't happened where it has vanished but i do believe it is the rare exception and not the norm.

This is why online poker will never be allowed in the US. Every time something like this happens, it bolsters the US Government's claims that online poker sites are shady, rigged sites that are run by criminals who should not be trusted or dealt with.

Every time a site disappears, or we get an incident like this, or FTP, the chances of online poker ever becoming legal in the US erodes just a little bit more.
That's not even close to truth. The politicians could care less about how legitimate the sites are. Though when it is legal it will be more legitimate because they will be taxing them. Also if im not mistaken nevada will have online poker up and running in a few months, albeit interstate.

Online poker sites are "shady" because of the US government. Don't you follow what they are doing to undermine US citizens god given rights to play poker online? Does Britain have a problem? No, that is because their government believes in the rights of their citizens. Ours doesn't, they believe in the rights of corporations, and the corporations plan on finding a way so all US citizens play only on the sites they want us to play on. That's a fact. Why do you think American casino owners are giving tens or hundreds of millions to politicians who promise them just this? They want the billions in profits all for themselves, not to be shared by any company not incorporated in the US.

God bless America alright.

The second I read on here that Intertops halted US registrations I couldn't hit the withdraw button fast enough.

It's not going to get any better till the US Gov has their hands in the jar. I'm tired of tip toeing around.

Glad I live near Commerce.

meh, one of the merge skins I play on stopped accepting new u.s. players more than a year ago, still don't, ldo. And right now, I am enjoying 24-48 hour cashouts, from request to cimh... tbh, personally I am very happy with Intertops' decision... Just sucks for all those suckers who fell for Lock's propaganda, and didn't open an Intertops account in time... I only hope that Intertops does't leave Revolution! B/c as of now, I cannot imagine playing on any other skin on Revolution.

I remember what happened with Merge and I'm glad you're happy about intertops decision.

It isn't a positive sign to me. No company shuts down customers because it's just making too much money and they're tired of all the work.

FWIW I enjoyed my time on Intertops. The rep here has always been helpful and so has CS.

Enjoy.
