Please read the semi-official Winpoker thread.

They're based in India (licensed in Curacao ) and serving all countries except the US and the UK (and, I presume, other regulated markets like Spain, Italy, France, Estonia, Belgium, Denmark). The fastest withdrawal option is Bitcoin (unavailable at other iPoker sites, afaik).

Affilate relations are irrelevant to players because Winpoker's affiliate T&C prohibit affiliates from offering any extra incentives. So players can only benefit from the site's VIP program (whose value reaches ~70% for very high volume players but, say, only 48% for Supernova equivalent volume, which is pretty much the same as Supernova rewards because iPoker's cash game rake is a bit higher) and first deposit bonus. Because of this, I think Winpoker's aggregate rewards are lower than those of some major iPoker skins (Ladbrokes, William Hill, Betfair, Coral, Titan, etc).

Hi coon74, thank you for your answer.

I just wanted to know if anyone who withdraw money in the UK after the closure actually received them. Because the support doesn't answer to any emails, any facebook messages.

I'm down on bet365 right now. 3 days in a row for me now. At least this time I'm not at a FT.

On a seperate note, have rec'd a few tourny tokens this week, but no email to explain them. Is that compensation for the disconnects?

Titan went down for me for a few minutes earlier today. I don't think it cost me too much equity but sent an email asking to be reimbursed for lost equity anyway.

This may seem weird but I feel as if the disconnects really only happen during tournaments, I have been playing cash on the site for a few weeks with 0 problems, today I played 3 tournaments with no cash and had multiple disconnects

iPoker is backed by almost all of the big gaming brands in the UK.
These companies with are worth billions of pounds combined.

Why has it become generally accepted that the software is horrendous and that disconnects are a common "occupational hazard" for playing there?
Disconnections shouldn't happen. Not even once.

At what point does it become the responsibility of the individual skins to get this fixed?
It seems like on any given night at least one skin is having connectivity issues.
As an MTT player, it's like a lottery, hope you're on the good side of the disconnections!

"We're working on it" doesn't cut it.
They've been "Working on it" for years.
If they can't fix the problem, they need to invest in hiring some people that can.

This is all without the horrendous copy/paste customer support who can barely understand English, or being nit-picky about the small quality of life issues that could be easily fixed within the client itself. Ever disconnected while 12-tabling MTTs? The cluster**** of popups and tables going all over the place that renders your client unresponsive for the next 45 seconds is almost as frustrating as the disconnection itself!

Is there anything we can do as players to encourage the big names such as Bet365, Coral, William Hill, etc to actually get something done about this?

Surely fixing the main connectivity issue can't be as expensive as all the money they've had to pay out in refunds and lost customers.

1/3 of my table in the depositors' freeroll is sitting out (yes, I do 1-table it while having dinner), Ladbrokes' client is somewhat laggy. I guess it's normal for the biggest peak hour.

And it's unlikely to be fixed because poker is such a small part of their business. They do -EV things maybe just because it's +EV for their limited human resources to focus on other parts of the business.

please take a second and read this because you will not believe it can happen - titan poker was confiscating me 3.000 euros for using what they called irregular betting patterns and they are not giving any details( probably a whale called an overbet from me i suppose it means - but surprise they are not answearing now to my emails to send me at least the hand histories or the name of the players who received the money).
details here http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28.../#post45388382
hard to believe anyone such a joke to confiscate your money because the hand was not abc style , i am very curipus at least to send me the hands to see what means in their eyes irregular betting patterns

I was able to keep 8 tables open yesterday but from this morning I can't play 1 without timing out. Checked the CPU and I-Poker is hogging over 50% of my PC resources, this despite having a 3Ghz PC and 12 GB RAM. Tried a PC restart to no help.

Same thing happens on PaddyPower and I know of at least one other player who is suffering today.

When I contacted Betfair support they said there was nothing wrong on their end. Talking to a brick wall so hopefully someone see's this from I-Poker as this isn't the first time this has happened.

I have the same thing (Betfred), 8gb ram, usually able to 12+ table smoothly, just one table is lagging today, using 100% of CPU at times. Uninstalling/restarting does not resolve. I don't recall an update so this seems really bizarre.

So relieved it's not just me.

So, just wanted to log-in to Betfair, I get this:

Quote:
Our software detects that you may be accessing the Betfair website from a country that Betfair does not accept bets from. If you believe that this detection has occurred in error please contact us for further assistance.
Anybody else? I'm from Germany.

Not in the mood for hassling with support, just wondering..
