This is my processor:
https://ark.intel.com/products/95451...p-to-3_50-GHz-
so I'm guessing I have 2 cores.
The thing is though, on my previous very weak and old laptop I was getting crashes. The whole program just crashed. Now everything is running fine and I just get disconnected. I have no clue, perhaps this could very well be due to my PC strength. I just feel that running 4-6 tables shouldn't present a problem at the moment, I mean I was able to run 4 tables on my 7 year old previous laptop without getting a lot of crashes (especially if I checked the priority in task manager for pokerclient.exe on high, which doesn't seem to help with the disconnects).
This computer is a rocket compared to the previous one ... I have no idea why this is going on. Perhaps it's also due to HM2 which at times eats up almost 100% of my process strength (only lasts for a split second, but perhaps it's enough to throw iPoker off balance).
Also, I remember that at times it disconnected with me only having 2-3 tables open. It would be absurd if 3 tables were overloading this computer, don't you think?
Do you think I could improve my computer overall by getting rid of all the fancy visual Windows 10 stuff like I did on my previous laptop (Windows 7)? Or perhaps just reinstalling Windows 7 (I'm sure Windows 10 eats up more resources, though this is just a personal guess)?
Any input is greatly appreciated. This is the first site I really got used to and it was a pleasure grinding SNGs. I don't ask for much, haha, 6 tables is all I need at the moment.
(Oh, and I forgot to ask the most important thing. Basically coinflipper you have no problems with either crashes or disconnects if you use your fast computer? And other people like you also don't have frequent disconnect issues? It's something on my side? Thanks.)
