A separate company owns the software and leases that software out. That 2 separate networks rent the software doesn't make it one network. We are going to be seeing a lot of leasing of software if poker is legalized on a state by state basis.

different Networks should be on different Networks! Hence the name Network.

Essentially what you are saying is that their are two "Network Skins" that have their own group of "Poker Skins" on the same server/network.

They are on different networks. It's a security feature of the client that essentially the same clients can't run on the same computer. It has nothing to do with the networks being connected.

It depends. When you have chico.exe running, does equity.exe tell you it cannot launch when you try? If so, it is a short sighted programming error. Quite common to prevent multiple instances of your app from running together, but if they are separate licenses or otherwise packaged as different products, it just means the programmer didn't think it through.

If you do not get the error until you try to log on, then it most likely means both clients are contacting the same server(s).
They may still be separate poker networks, but still connect to some 3rd party managed server farm and have a dev/design issue.

I haven't looked at either client so I am just guessing based on my experience with developing client server apps.

Actually it's become a mute point because they both can be run at the same time now. I think that it was something that they didn't fix until just before they went online. When it did happen, I got an instant message stating that the client was already running. It never took the time to connect to the server.

Also the $5k freeroll has been posted.

Yes, and...
So, you usually comment on these sites that spring up. Is there any reason a US player should jump on the ship of yet another start-up? What is the last USA start-up that has survived to be much of anything and does not have a line-up of unhappy players wondering what happened?

I have a new question. I signed up for Full Flush Poker, to play the 2 $5000 freerolls. I never saw the Chico software before, but it seemed OK to me.

Can I register on Integer Poker too? From what Sandy said I think the answer is no. If so, it's not a big deal for me, but maybe you might want to compare their sign up bonuses if you haven't signed up to either one yet.

So it looks like it will be **** rakeback, no p2p as expected. If you care at all about rake and rakeback, you should be playing on SwC. If you love Merge in its current state, you're gonna love EPN.
When will sites get that it's not about margins, it's about volume. A site that gives 15% rakeback/cashback and has 500 players won't make as much as a site that gives 45% rakeback but has 1501 players.

Since you mentioned rake, I assume you've factored it in as well? Because of course, comparing RB alone from one site to another is completely useless, unless they're on the same network.

Interesting, i was thinking of opening up a chain of low-cost retailers and locating my stores next to Wal-Marts.

Also, if you're not competing in terms of rake or software, do you at least have a vision of how you will compete with Carbon in the cheeky emoticon market?

Cuz they have the emoticon game locked up right now.

According to news/their sites they already attracted Heritage Bookmaker and 5 Dimes Group (the bookmakers that has been on Winning Network till now (however I don't know whether they will leave Winning or they will offer both ).

I haven't seen any new network that would have such a good start ( by attracting one huge bookmaker that haven't offered poker-heritage and attracting 5 Dimes that is also a huge bookmaker). Can't recall any network with such a start.

So far it looks really strong

The site that gives 45% rakeback wont have 1501 players for a very long time, we saw that in the past. The games just die until the room adjust, like Stars, Party and 888 did.

All the rooms that continued to offer 45% rakeback, they all went broke without exception, it's not viable for their business.

I am playing on FULL FLUSH Poker and i have a couple of questions about the software.
perhaps someone here can help.

When you place the mouse arrow over a players name it shows a location or it says " does not want to share details". Where is this function located?

Next to the chat box there are 2 tabs one "P" and one "D" what are these for.

No big deal just wondering ......THANKS

P=play chat on
D= dealer chat on

When you click either one you'll notice it changes how bold it is.

I believe the players without a location are on one of the sports books. I don't think FF has that option.

Maybe a mod can update the OP with all rooms. These are the new ones:

http://www.gearpoker.com
150% bonus up to $450
refer a friend $25

www.heritagesports.eu

(doesn't clarify if sports/casino/poker limited or all:
8% cash signup bonus up to $1000 (4xrollover)
8th deposit free (if you deposit 7 times and busto the 8th is on the house! 8x rollover 5k max)

http://5dimes.eu/pk_openwatersmain.html
For every $1 of rake you generate, you will be awarded 10 POPoints. Exchange your POPoints for CASH once you have accumulated enough and keep playing and winning!
Amount Reward
100 POPs $5 CASH
200 POPs $10 CASH
400 POPs $20 CASH
2000 POPs $100 CASH

Looks like some of the other sites listed in the news article of 5dimes branch are still associated with another network so I did not include them.

Additionally if anyone finds more details about reward/vip systems please post an update.

FullFlush also gives POP points but they give a lot less money for them. It normally takes 1500 points to get $5. Until the end of this month though, as a special promotion, they are giving $3.50 for 100 points which is still less than 5dimes. The 5dimes redemption is essentially 50% rakeback whereas the FullFlush (until the end of the month) is 35% rakeback.

How do you cash points in on Full Flush. I earned about 6K in the weeks before launch and the week after and was told they were basically useless except to release a deposit bonus. I never deposited though.

I think that you have to send an email to support. Maybe in the future they will make it automatic. It's from this page that I know about it:

I'll give it a try. I quoted the promotions page to a few different people in life chat a couple weeks ago and they just acted like I was an idiot lol.

The .35 per 100 is only valid on points earned from Nov 19th until the end of the month. They will put the cash in your account at the end of the month.

The normal rate for points conversion is 325 for $1.

It seems to me if you're going to play on this network Full Flush isn't the skin to choose.
