This thread actually isn't called thr "Equity Poker Network" thread; it's called the "Unofficial Equity Poker Network Thread" because it isn't here for the Equity Network to answer questions. It's here for anyone who wants to discuss the network or its skins to do so. Any questions that are answered by the network or skins are essentially a bonus.

There's a very good reason that none of the networks publicly announce the usernames of colluders who have been thrown off a site. If a network announces that a player is a cheat they can be sued for libel or slander, even if the accusation is true since cheating is difficult to definitely prove. Usernames aren't necessarily anonymous. A network can't assume that a username isn't now or won't be in the future openly connected with the individual's real name.

I agree that if someone who feels they were the victim of collusion or inappropriately banned they should 100% make every effort to deal with the skin/network involved. However, a member of this community feels he was wronged and is 100% within his rights to out the network/skin on twoplustwo. You may not like it and you can do your best to shill, to an extent,for your network, but the information and story are appropriately placed within this thread.

I started on 5D about 10 days ago (my old account dated back to 2006 or so), played few sessions on 200-1k and managed to win just few k's in the last session (on 19/02).

They charge $15 for Neteller withdrawals unless you wait for the specific day, but I decided to withdraw big chunk anyway because keeping there more than $2k isn't a great idea imo. First I should say: I recieved the withdrawal within couple of hours!

Next day, I can't login into poker room... It's possible to login on sportsbook but it says my account has been suspended and I should contact customer support. What's strange, I haven't recieved any email/phone call from them about the blocking. So, let's try live chat support: I explained the situation and asked for clarification and the "live person" on chat wasn't able to reply in ~15-20mins.^^ OK w/e, let's try email now...

I believe that both Equity and Chico (betonline network) use the same software and something like that used to be fairly standard on betonline (especially that they have access to your password on their backend...). Woudln't be suprised that software allowed them to see your password so from this perspective it is fairly standard procedure

That is 5dimes. They have been around for awhile if that helps your confidence at all. I know they are a pretty good sports book. I have an account with them as well.

That's why i chose 5D at the first place. The problem is that literally anyone might have access to your login details and what does really stop them to simply pass it to some "friend" anytime?^^

No. I've been in touch with their CS team (friendly guys asking for password^^) but we haven't got anywhere yet. I'm not able to login to the sportsbook account/cashier anymore though.

A lot of sportbooks ask for a password in this way. Yes, it is outdated, it is stupid, it is unnecessary, it is unsafe. But it is not some shady way to scam you.

I don't give a **** about those $200-300 I left in their loyalty points (what's lost obv) but won't give up about $2k that were left in my account... According to that idiot I spoke to, my funds are hold by Equity network, not the room itself so there's at least some hope.

5Dimes isn't the one to initially ban him, it was the over zealous Equity Network security.

Moral of the story, if you win to much on Equity Network, they awesome you were dumping/cheating.

Neteller has been added to the cashier with Ukash, Entropay and Paysafe to follow in the weeks to come.

It is my understanding that you never played a hand on IntegerPoker or any other skin on the Equity Poker Network. I wonder why you continue to troll this thread with your negativity while the general feedback from players reflects a positive experience.

Really? I was responding to a player who had their bankroll confiscated by your business associates. Unfortunately 1 or 2 cases like this can undo everything positive about other players experience.

If you don't want to see posts like this, why don't you step up to the plate and help Opal out? We have 2 confirmed 2p2ers with their bankrolls yanked. Is it possible they broke the TOS? I suppose. Is it possible the network security team doesn't know what their doing/has another agenda? Unfortunately, yes.

The problem with your posts is that you are coming to over the top conclusions about things that you have no first hand knowledge about. It makes your posts come off as something other than real concern.

We need an update from Opal on the status of his account with Equity and 5Dimes.

I don't need to shill. I officially represent the company I work for. If you read back in this thread you will find that it is network and operator policy not to discuss security related matters in public. Opal has to address his case directly with his operator.

Great, then no need for you to address "general player feedback", whether it be positive or negative.

Stick to representing your operator and leave network issues that are discussed, alone.

It has been 17 days since my email to the network asking for an explanation any other relevant information and they have not gotten back to me. I sent another email 14 days ago in case they didn't receive my initial email.

Overview what happened:
- wasn't able to login, no email, no phone call

- contacted my skin, they informed my account was frozen and under investigation

- my account has been closed for about 5 days. That's when I received an email from the network telling me my account has been banned and funds confiscated.
- I sent them an email what I did wrong.

- no response

- I sent them another email asking them again what I did wrong.

- again no response.
