You're out of line for complaining about that, too.

Did you actually think I was giving her a hard time? You must be one of those sensitive fellows....
Offering non-poker bonuses on the poker side of a internet site and misleading bonuses in general is a common practice of poker/sports betting/casino internet sites. It's in your best interest to read the fine print.

As far as sensitive? Maybe, but I'd call it empathy for the poor soul who has to put up with verbal abuse(not referring to you specifically) for multiple hours a day because someone higher up made a decision that upsets a bunch of degenerate gamblers who we all know are not the most emotionally stable type.

Yep, typical 2+2! Members think that EVERYONE has deposited lots of times on poker sites and should be aware of the traps and pitfalls of these sites just because they have. They forget or choose to ignore that sometimes new people join this forum or start depositing money onto a poker sites and might not be quite as savvy as they are.
Why do such people seem to overpopulate 2+2?

I can't see how either of our posts lead you to that assumption of us thinking that. We can see your join date by the way.

All I'm saying is read the fine print, Always. Poker sites, sports books, contracts, subscriptions, credit cards, etc. This way you always know what you're getting into. You only have yourself to blame if you don't and things you should've, but didn't anticipate could possibly happen, actually happen.

Obviously you're unaware that B&M players are members of this forum also since my "join date" seems to be some kind of indicator.

I'm kinda confused about something and want to get some input. Hopefully not just having a giant brain fart somehow. I already ran this question by another player and he had independently had the same confusion.

This is the current top 10 of the weekly Gold cash leaderboard for this week (beginning at 8pm est 7/16).

Bloodywolf: HU 1k reg
GT_Optional: NLHE and PLO 6max reg, saw him at PLO tables tonight
Outfishin9: PLO reg, saw him at PLO tables tonight
Hero: NLHE reg
Gomza7: PLO reg, saw him at PLO tonight
SWYThink: PLO reg, not sure if I saw him at PLO?
NEWBIE: NLHE reg, played several tables w/him tonight
Wishbone: NLHE fish, played w/him tonight
Wolfy8888: NLHE fish, played w/him tonight
Pureprofit: NLHE reg, played several tables w/him tonight

So looking at the numbers on the leaderboard, what I'm confused by is how is this HU reg bloodywolf (who was not seen on any non-anon tables tonight, HU tables being anon) is able to generate more than double the points of anyone else on the list? Even if the 2nd and 3rd place guys had played ALL OF THEIR POINTS in matches against bloodywolf, it doesn't even sum to 1715. PLUS I saw these guys on the PLO tables. Bloodywolf is playing HU against someone to generate these points and the points on the other end have to be going somewhere.

I asked about this in live chat and ofc didn't get anywhere, they just told me to send hands if I suspect something untoward is going on, and I don't even have or want to send hands, I'm just looking at this leaderboard and the figures on it.

I don't even want a dollar, but can a brother get a few poker points? Geez
You may want to crop that.

I'd answer the question if I could, but please keep an eye on that.

Like to a lot of different players?

Right, but if you accept my assumption that none of the other players in the top 10 are playing him, he would have had to play discrete matches against AT LEAST 6 players who he each generated 250 to 300 points against, or 17 players who he each generated 100 points against, or what have you, and that had to have happened in between 8pm est and 3 am est last night. And I didn't see any HU running after midnight. There was a spate of action at 1knl HU maybe around 10pm, with 7-8 tables running for a bit, but it didn't seem like more than an hour or so. It just seems very unlikely that somehow all those points are generated in separate matches. Even now (5:30 pm est 7/17) there's only 25 players on the leaderboard with >200 points, and again a bunch of them I've seen how their points were generated because you can see them playing 6max PLO or NLHE.

Ah, good point about the timing - poor reading comprehension on my part, sorry. Perhaps a lag/error with his points updating?

Regardless, seems fair to be at least questioning it.

Yeah, so it is the case that the points don't accrue to the leaderboard until a player leaves the tables, so hypothetically it's possible bloodywolf played somebody for a while, then quit them, and that player continued to hold the tables past 3 am before leaving. But again every player in the current top 10 as of now I can "account for" as being a PLO reg, and have seen them a bunch on the tables today.

Want to be clear I'm not alleging anything, just trying to sort out an explanation for this.

If he played BEFORE the leaderboard started but just closed his tables AFTER the start the points will be count towards the new week afaik

Ahhhhhhhhhhh ok that explains it. Will confirm with support, thanks.

That is incredibly dumb, btw. The points should accrue to your account when the hands are played imo.

Sounds like a good strategy to get a leg up on everyone if you can do a marathon session right before the new leaderboard starts.

TigerGaming is offering BTC as a withdrawal option since today it seems - did BOL use a "fair" rate for their BTC withdrawals or are there hidden charges with the exchange rate? (in the cashier window it claims there are no fees for BTC withdrawal)

The support wasn't very helpful:
...
Hero: where can I see with which exchange rate the $ will be converted into Bitcoin?
Suport: All Bitcoin's transactions are in US dollars as well.
...

Which bitcoin wallet do you use? I am interested in starting with this process but the ACR deposit seemed to over-complicate and got me worried about which providers to use.

Shouldn't be complicated once you gain some familiarity with it. I use blockchain.info.
