I'll give you the benefit the doubt and assume you're asking if one player blocks your chat can the other players at your table still see your chat. Although I wish I had the power to completely silence a player, that's not how it works. Anyone who hasn't muted you would still see what you typed. I although I discovered that your chat will show up in the hand history window even for the person who muted you.

I originally had a much more sarcastic response, but it's the holiday season and I'm feeling less inclined to be an ******* right now.

Not sure why everyone is so confused by this question, but the answer is yes. If your chat is turned off and you type something, everyone can see it but you.

Ok, you're wrong. The answers should be obvious. If I wanted to find out I could just call a friend and ask him to sit in a 10 cent game while I type with my chat turned off. Then I'll call him and ask if he can see anything. Option 2: Come on here and ask someone who just posted (hence their online now) if they'd do the same. Sooooooooooo unanswerable. Can mankind ever solve this riddle?

Yeah, the dude asks a legitimate question and people call him an idiot because of their own lack of comprehension.

Ive wondered that as well tbh as I play without chat on but occasionally will type simple things like nice hand or whatever. I never felt the need to experiment toggling the chat to find out for sure though.

Bovada: you need to improve the way players get moved around late in a tournament. It sucks when your in the money and the blinds are enormous, then I'm on the button at my original table, which means I just paid the blinds, then I get moved (full ring) and am two hands away from being the BB at 12K. You're Zone poker tables know how to move players according the when they've paid the most recent blinds, you guys should do something similar for MTT's. If this were a live tourney I would have raised hell with the floor person. Please look into it.

I was being sarcastic. And you proved my point. The only way to know is have some one sit at a table with you and start chatting. OP asked a question that only he can answer

Edit: but either way I should not have trolled OP.

As others have said this is true.

The only way to prevent players from reading your chat is to call/e-mail Bovada customer service and ask them to disable your chat. Then anything you type will be blocked and no one can see it.

I just got my first check in the mail from bovada, and so i immediately went to my local wells fargo bank and tried to deposit into my account there using the ATM, but it didn't accept the check as valid. I always deposit my checks through this ATM and I've never had a problem like this before. What should I do? Would it be better if I tried to deposit the check inside of the bank with the help of a wells fargo worker, or what?

Yes.. just walk into the bank, exchange some pleasantries, ask the tell to please deposit the check into your bank account. Teller will do their job, give you a receipt, and ask if there is anything else. You say no, that's all thank you, happy holidays.. or some similar sentiment.. and go about your day.

Note that when cashing Bovada checks with actual employees, you must make sure to balance your cashing range--never use the same employee more than once, never cash two checks for amounts within $10 of one another, and never wear the same hoodie/jacket/hat/whatever twice. Not doing so leaves your cashing range super exploitable to any thinking teller, who is now able to cash perfectly against said range.

^^^ Remember to tell them it is in US dollars. I remind them just to make sure they see it on the check. Deposited a lot at that bank and no issues.

checks from up north won't go in the atm because they have 8 digit routing numbers

Read the instructions that came attached to the check. They are very clear about not using an atm.

Stupid question...
I see guys folding/showing their cards to a bet. I generally don't have much of an interest in doing this, but there are instances where I have...how do I?

(I know how to "Show Cards" at showdown when I lose)

BTW it is standard practice o all these forums NOT to post the actual name of the bank. There are many reason for this, but mainly we want them off the radar so that they keep cashing them. In the future use code to identify the bank. For this bank you could say something like, "rhymes with Bells Margo." Thanks.

I like to employ the triple range merge at my bank. Sometimes I'm cashing a check, sometimes I'm making a withdrawal, but other times I have complete air and am just chatting with the hottie behind the counter. This helps with my lobby image to maximally exploit the weaker tellers.
