I think it used to take me like 6-8 hours of play to clear 250 pts at 25nl, I don't remember exactly though. 25-30 hours should probably be good enough to clear it.

Ladies it's time to once and for all to face the truth. If you are in the top 20% (Pareto principle ftw ldo) of Bovada's players' population you ain't getting dick beyond what you personally win at the tables.

I've been considering writing an email to support. My br is just over $300 and I could sure use the extra bucks.

Cant tell if this is a troll comment or not but if not that is a nice boost assuming you can clear it.

Never noticed this much disparity in email cash bonuses before. Could be because I have never received a separate bonus aside from the standard promo so didnt bother to look into it.

Dont think that will help you any. Will probably get a generic response saying its only for certain players.

I assume it has something to do with depositing multiple times? Or maybe even sports betting history/casinos?

Its possible... Have made several deposits lately but my most recent withdrawal eclipses the value of those deposits and that was a week or two ago.

Have not bet much, more into football than basketball
Wouldn't dare touch the Casino

ffs, you allz need to realize that Bovada is 100% committed to the recreational player model; i.e. they will only give out "extra" monies to that segment of their player pool that represents the recreational player base. In other words, their vision and business model is that if you do w/e you can to make it a comfortable environment for the fish, you will by default attract a sufficient quantity of "sharks" to provide the necessary liquidity to make Brovada da monies.

Told my bank it was ok but I was never charged from bovada because it was 2 weeks later when I got around to telling the bank charges from that payment provider was ok.

for2bill.com came up for $2 and change in my account. I caught it while it was still pending. I disputed it with my bank, and it wasn't a ton of paperwork or problems. I called their fraud number, they cancelled my card immediately and said they would look into it, and even credited me for the charge. Five or ten minutes on the phone, that's it. A week later, they said they investigated and the charge was not authorized, and finalized the credit.

I looked up for2bill.com's whois.

Creation Date: 2013-11-21

They just created this domain/site a few months ago. I would recommend everyone to cancel their card if they have this charge, and of course you should fight it. I don't care about the $2, but I do care about some thief getting even $0.01 from me or anyone else. If people don't dispute, they will keep doing it (which from remarks here it seems as they have good reason to).
Same exact thing happened for $2.28 twice and I did what you did only Schwab took care of it in a couple days. Anyone know how they have our info? Weak security?

Any chance they will ever go back to allowing poker points to be converted for cash instead of tournaments?

There is always a chance. In this particular case, it's more akin to a snow ball's chance to survive in hell.

Ive deposited a total of $75 in the past 4 months....cash out $250 or so regularly a month...

sportsbet daily...play poker daily 5 hours at a time, granted no cash mostly low SNG tournies with few MTTs mixed in...

this is the FIRST email promo ive ever received since starting about 2 years ago...

what exactly qualifies me as "recreational" exactly

IMO, this bonus is based on the stakes you play and the rake amount you put in.
When you look at mine, I play 25NL and I am given this:

Enter now for your chance to win and you can also earn up to $400 in cash bonuses just by playing.
Earn 700 Poker Points in a week to get a $75 cash bonus.
Earn 800 Poker Points in a week to get a $100 cash bonus.

As referenced by another poster (rakeme), it took him 6-8 hours to clear 250 player points. So 25-30 hours would be able to handle it.

I think it is based on how much you play and/or rake you generate.

The fact that you make about $1.50 an hour at poker, while blowing money in the sportsbook?

I am just "passing wind" here, so don't get too butt hurt. But if your hourly is below minimum wage, I consider you a rec. player. Brovada on the other hand probably has their own proprietary algorithm that incorporates other multiple variables.
