Re: *** Unofficial Bovada Thread ***

Seems like a good time to once again point people in the direction of the official thread

*** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I will answer any questions in that thread about the network as a whole... this includes problems with the software (such as the recent lag issues that..fingers crossed.. seems to be improved lately).. suggestions you'd like to make about any game.. network wide promotions (wsop/apt main event sattys).. or pretty much anything having to do with the whole network.

Also, you should note that bodog has made zero changes to their TOS since the change to anonymous tables. Thus, any program that was permitted before the change, is still allowed.
Doesnt this confirm that it is allowed?? HI only keeps session stats, thus is ok as per Ice's last sentence?

Right now I would try uninstalling and re installing the program.

Tried that. Still having the same problem.

Any advice?

Re: *** Unofficial Bovada Thread ***

Be wary of playing the rebuy tournaments.

They have some rebuy tourneys that I really like playing because the add on can create some fairly deep stack play. For example, there is a $10+1 buy in rebuy at 17:30 ET. Starting chips are 2000, unlimited rebuys. After one hour the rebuy period ends and you can add on $10 for 10,000 chips.

However, on occasion the add on request fails. You click the add on button, get a confirmation screen, click ok and it doesn't complete, the confirmation pop up just sits there.

This happened to me once and I just waited, when the add on period was done regular play resumed. And I had near a starting stack of 2k and the rest of the table had anywhere from 11k to 20k. I called support and got no help other than a suggestion that I should restart the software.

It happened to me again tonight. This time I restarted the client twice and reconnected to the table. But it wouldn't give me the add on button anymore. Called support again, they blamed it on internet lag (their excuse for everything).

But the point I couldn't get them to understand (before getting disconnected for the third time) was that even if a lag was the problem, the software gave me no way to recover the add on option. It's like the request got far enough to log that I had used the option, but not far enough to complete it.

Another player at the table said he was unable to add on either.

So I guess I will stop playing this tourney, which is a shame since it is one of my favorites there.

Pokerstars, how I miss thee....

You must be talking about the secret VIP system. No one is supposed to post about it, otherwise they'll shut it down. But yes, they do allow transfers, and if you get to a high enough VIP status they give you a 5th card in PLO.

^^you forgot the ability to bypass 4 table max.

In all seriousness, most (not all) sportsbooks have no transfer ability or it's very restricted. I think it has something to do with bypassing betting limits or money laundering. I think.

Re: *** Unofficial Bovada Thread ***

Posting this on the bovada thread as well as it posted it on bodog thread when they are no longer bodog...

Is there any chance bovada would implement double ups SNGS higher than $21 but lower than $135 for 6 max?

I mean, they have the 9 man triple ups for $27.50, $30 and $60 but those are 9 mans and they rarely fill up and basically play like an sng because it pays top 3.

I just don't know why you have 6 max double ups at $5, $10, $20 and then $130. How come there isn't anything in the middle?
