i had the nov 2nd games locked up a few weeks ago but unregistered to pad my br. in the mean time i'll be focusing on these contenders and punta cana.

I only need a few more points for this week's TD. Hopefully other NFC South peeps are close as well and we can go 3-0!

On the website goto "poker" then "promotions" then "poker bowl" and join the team "NFC South" (alot of people itt are on that one) or whatever team you want. All of the details are on the poker bowl page.

why would someone ddos you if they have a nutty hand. wouldn't they want you to call?

Because you dont understand the concept of a coincidence or you are ignoring the times you arent in a big hand and get disconnected?

5thStreetHog = not a conspiracy theorist.

What kind of notes do y'all keep during games?

I think it's useful to notice if a player's pace seems to indicate they auto-fold (fold to any bet) preflop most of the time. That way, if I see them slow down and use time, it means SOMETHING although I'm careful about drawing conclusions.

Are you saying that if a player doesn't autofold preflop, but rather calls or raises, it means he has a stronger hand than when he autofolds?

A person autofolding can be an indication that the player might have a tendancy to play his cards rather than trying to outplay anyone. So a person who autofolds might actually have stronger hands when he is in a hand (it's also an indication that the person might be multitabling). On the other hand, a person who never autofolds might actually, at times, be playing with weaker hands because that person is more likely be looking for opportunities to steal. But as CJRogue said, you have to be careful about drawing conclusions.

If someone is autofolding, it just means that they have an opening range decided on for every position at that table. This doesn't mean they are using a static chart, their ranges can change based on which opponents are in which positions. So it doesn't mean that they are just "playing their cards". There is no difference between them pressing autofold with a hand, and waiting until its their turn and pressing fold.

So autofolding can't give you any information about the player's range. But you're right about maybe giving some meta information about the player. Like he isn't playing 100% of hands in every situation. And if you see him continuing to autofold in spots where he should probably be waiting to see what a certain player does first, then he may be not paying attention/playing his cards like you said.
