I believe it was the same ratio as pts to tickets now. 1000 pts = $10

When you look at mine, I play 25NL and I am given this:

Enter now for your chance to win and you can also earn up to $400 in cash bonuses just by playing.
Earn 700 Poker Points in a week to get a $75 cash bonus.
Earn 800 Poker Points in a week to get a $100 cash bonus.

As referenced by another poster (rakeme), it took him 6-8 hours to clear 250 player points. So 25-30 hours would be able to handle it.

I think it is based on how much you play and/or rake you generate.
I generate a ton of rake and never get an email like this.

which is probably most people that post here. i still think its funny how easy it is/was to get in the 99th % on opr so i imagine its almost impossible for anyone whos played more than 1000 hrs of poker to be below the top 80% there.

I've been losing at poker, pissed off a bunch in the casino, and made 3 deposits in the last few months while withdrawing nothing.

I've also been putting in way less volume lately, almost to the point of not playing at all, in about the last 3 weeks.

If that's not a recipe for receiving a bonus, i don't know what is. And i got jack.

Now if the above is true, it really pisses me off! WTF I am seriously thinking of starting a lobbying effort on your (and those in the same category as you) behalf.

Personally I'd be shocked if more than 20% of this thread's posters are long-term winning players. Keep in mind that poker is a negative sum game!

20% is being generous. Probably closer to 1%.

I'd venture it's a bit more than that since a lot of players don't post until they start winning and feel proud enough to talk some **** on here. Maybe 5-10% is my bet, probably closer to the 5. I'd say 99% of the people viewing this thread are not winning players.

i was just talking about opr stats. there were guys in the 90%+ with barely breakeven stats and such. im pretty sure there were losing players even in the top 80%. a lot of guys in the 98-99th didnt even have very impressive stats.

If some one put a gun to my head and made me choose I'd go with 5%. Interesting thing is when I was a daytrader at a prop firm, only about 4% were consistently "beating" the market...

You'd think from how people post on 2+2 that everyone was a winner, but I agree probably 5% or less are winning at a decent clip, maybe another 5% barely winning, and the next 5-10% breaking even/ slightly losing.

2+2 terms: barely winning players are crushing, losing players are "about break even."

Oh and while we're at it, every single time a person disconnects, they had the nuts and were about to win 15x their bankroll in one hand.

Yeah - i busted my account again today and was gonna reload... but now i'm thinking i should hold off and see if bovada will "let me know how much they want me back," so to speak.

I'm still up since i started last july, so maybe that's what's keeping me from getting a bonus... but seriously, since march i'm down about $1.5k, and i play micros on there.

Really what happened is that my doomswitch turned on as soon as i got my ftp monies.
