Jan - you lose 10,000 playing poker
Feb - you lose 5,000 playing poker
March - you win 15,000 playing poker
Therefore, as a professional gambler, your taxable income is 0.00. Is that so hard for you to understand?
So, if the casino takes 30% of your 15,000 score - that is not money that was taxable. Therefore you shouldn't have to wait 13 months to get that refund.
