Mid stakes are very soft most of the time, especially on the PLO tables. Once you get 3-6+ you can run into some tuff games from time to time, but they are still easier than most sites on average.

thanks for the info guys
I would say the overall nightly traffic is good, but merge has better Sunday tourneys.

Also, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Bovada DOES NOT HAVE SYNCHRONIZED BREAKS! This sucks a royal fat one when you are playing 3 or more tourneys at once and can never go to the bathroom or eat without sitting out or running through your house like a madman every time your computer bleeps!

Not for long.

Every time someone posts how soft a site is the games get harder.

Cake went from having the softest games online, to being a total rock garden real fast from word of mouth in poker forums just like that imo.

Add to that the flocking of players from Merge and Revolution for various reasons, and it was inevitable that the games have and will continue to become harder.

I'm pretty sure part of their business model is to tilt the grinders away from the site. I always just sit out at my Bovada tables at 55 after and do what I have to do unless it's so deep in the tournament that it will effect me.

Yeah but the thing is it would benefit recreational players too if they had synced breaks.

100% agree, but they seem more concerned with the table raining money when you win a big hand.

Do you think they would have more success starting games if they reduced the rake when HU at non HU tables from $1 to $.50?

I have always just used my visa debit card linked to my checking account and never had any problems at all. In regards to the WU matter, I believe the only way you can withdraw WU is if you deposit with WU.

also i know no huds are allowed but is there an easy way to track your hands still? i.e. dl and import them into hem or something to review when not playing? Thanks for the help. finally coming back around post BF and bovada seems like a decent spot to hit.

As far as limit goes games have gotten a little tougher than say last year around this time but the volume has also increased so I kinda think it's a wash. One problem is that there are so many limit players who are forced to play on bovada cause the other sites are so terrible at the moment. You used to get by if you didn't like bovada by playing multiple skins on merge and rev but that is not possible cause there are no games period. At least merge used to have a 15/30 game running regularly. Now just lame 3/6 and only one, and who wants to play so low.. what are we school children?

It kinda sucks cause i used to feel that if bovada went down I could at least patchwork together an income from the other 3 sites but now I know that if bovada breaks I MUST move to continue to play and that scares me. There are no signs of this obviously but when there is literally only 1 place to play i am definitely on thin ice.

I'm not completely sold that posting that a site is soft actually makes it less soft. There is not a strong player in the world who doesn't know that bovada is soft.

So posting that bovada is soft actually makes it softer cause if the opposite were true it would be not soft after years in business.

Can you imagine a seasoned pro reading this thread.... Eureka! Holy cow i've been looking for soft games and never heard of bovada!

OR a net depositor joins cause they heard the site was soft.

my bank put a hold on my card and then i called the security team at my bank to confirm transactions under the names that bovada gave me and they restarted my card right back up.

I'm not sold on it either. Everyone who plays online still already knows this. If anything, I feel it'd entice players who are good for the games to play thinking it will be "easy". People seem to think because someone posts on 2+2 they are good at poker. The majority of people, even on 2+2 are fish.

I could use some advice here - I usually use my Visa to donk off $20 parlays once in a while on Bovada and it goes through fine - I recently tried to deposit $300 and my card got declined - now my card company emailed me asking if the charge was authorized or not. The money isn't in my Bovada account because it got declined. If I say the charge was legit will Visa put it through while Bovada doesn't and I get ****ed out of $300? I'm guessing if I say it wasn't authorized then they're gonna shut down my card. Any experience with this? Thanks brodogs

I would recommend calling Bovada and explaining your situation.
