Fyi, and maybe this has been said on here already. But it does appear to cut down any lag time if after you have tables up you don't surf the lobby, especially the tournament lobby. I do some experiments yesterday at the beginning and end of my session and the lags seemed to come mostly when I did anything that required lobby updates. When I just kept it up on cash game screen for example, no lags.

Someone else has probably mentioned this, but I haven't seen it posted recently.

Now if we can just get them to go back to the old table format. I really don't understand why they did this. I'm assuming they were looking for a cheap way to cut down on collusion, but seems like a bad idea on multiple levels.

How has traffic been since this new seating disaster? Is HUNL still feasible?

Yeah, that's the old casino tab trick that's part if the thread title. Right before they screwed up the cash lobby and before all these recent lag issues, it wasn't really necessary anymore. I see they fixed that though. Plus side is that it works like you say by using the cash lobby instead of the casino.

I contacted support and asked if they could tell my their player volume and they stated at the current time, cash games had aprox 200 while tourneys had 300. Was this site really hit that hard?

everytime i want to play, seems the site sux via 2p2... saves me time of playing...

I spoke with three different reps today, two gave me nearly exact numbers while the third stated that she was unable to relinquish that information but assured me that the purpose for the new seating was solely due to collusion.

Who the hell knows where these numbers came from, but coming to the conclusion that there player-base is much higher than stated by them will require more than a single opinion.

I played MTTs all day and didn't disconnect at all.

eh I kinda get why they made the switch but seriously is it so hard to implement some sort of "waiting list" feature that will get you at a 5 or 6 handed table, having to constantly close/reopen tables is so dumb

due to the spawning system and the "stacking" of tables (as well as the removal of table numbers from the user display), this does nothing to prevent collusion and actually makes it harder to detect and report, as a player.

Regardless of what a customer service rep says this is clearly a move to protect recreational players and make bum hunting tougher in general on the site. That's their M.O. And they'll continue this forever always making improvements to benefit the recs, even if we can't understand how said improvements move in that direction. It's tough to argue with them when they've been right and still continue to have the softest games on the planet.

Software issues are just a bump in the road for rolling out some new system that wasn't tested well.

I havent had any disconnect issues so far this week but experienced a ton of lag last night during peak hours for their traffic time.... better than the prior 2 weeks atleast

got d/c'd a bunch of times in the past hour and def not my internet, cause when its my internet then all my tables disconnect at the same time and my internet(chrome) obv wont work either when its on my end.

I understand that they have made it impossible to change modes, but wat are my options for changing the felt to black? It seems ppl are still able to make this change ?

No disconnects for me today after a 6 hour session. That's two days in a row for me that the software hasn't had disconnects so I'm feeling hopeful they are resolving the issue.
