I had to personally call them after e-mailing and not working for about 48hrs, the Wizards on the phone reset something and i was able to download them again, it was stuck for me..

Call them before the timeframe is up.... also screenshot it and send them an e-mail first if you like so there is no issues...

EDIT: HUSNG tables are missing completely now too... anyone else?

I feel like HNRs have gone up since the update. Could be my bias perception tho.

Thoughts?

The only way i can get the hand histories to download is if I click to download them, then wait 10 sec, sometimes one or two download, then close client, then re-open client, then the rest download.

PLO8 is for sure soon to be dead on Ignition with this update.. there's no way around that. No regs or recreational players are going to want to guess where the action is every time they try to play, particularly since 6 max and 9 max both ran. The only possible silver lining is maybe some of the Ignition PLO8 people will move to ACR and increase the traffic there.. getting a little rakeback playing there is nice at least.

this article has kinda a 'Calvin' feel to it and since there is no author I feel he likely wrote it. The good news is it is the first article with links of numbers to call and emails to write to.

Calvin (I suspect), also makes some unfair analogies and his references towards what constitutes cheating are suspect.

enjoy.

I can't even follow what he's saying beginning on the third paragraph onward. What does he mean by option? And how does that equate to stealing from a bank?

This article is LOL. So basically the founder of an online gambling site is telling everyone that if you win at poker your cheating. Also unless your a net depositor you're a cheater. Great advertising.

Makes me wonder how Ayre made so much money being a total dumba**. "Deposit on my poker site, but don't expect to withdraw you fuc*ing cheater!"

This is basically a declaration of war against winning players, not that it's something new. It's probably the first time it has been made so blatantly obvious though. Too bad we are all pretty well bent over the barrel here in the good ol' USA.

Just logged in after being out of town for past 5 days, this cash game update feels like Black Friday all over again. Please fix this trash.

I really wouldn't be shocked if in 3 months time we find out there is some form of soft segregation going on here.

I agree. I think that "associated with another player" bug was a first attempt at that. Was them trying to leverage part of the code that was already there to keep certain players apart and segregate using that. But they suck at programming and QA, so we all received those messages. In that light, this update makes sense. If you can see that other tables are running, but can't join them, then the segregation would become apparent very quickly. This update hides that from us.

It's all conjecture and rumor though, we'll never know anything for sure unless someone inside jumps ship.

Fwiw i don't/can't play bodog but any move to less transparency should be treated with severe skepticism. I also doubt there would be huge drops in recreational players the day of/after a change like this is made. These players don't play ignition because of it's software, if they were that worried about software they would be playing ACR or something.

To go from supposedly softest tables on the net to reg only tables is weird. Party tried to do something similar but their failing was the fact that the lobbies were still visible (just depending on if you were a reg or a fish you would see different tables). Here no one can tell where they are being sat. Would be very interested to see whether there was any difference in tables depending on a whether using a winning or losing account. I'm not saying that they are doing it, I just think some people are being a bit blaaze about the possibility.

Well you need an irl friend who is a big loser on the site, 2 internet connections and enough of a sample size of "sitting" tables each day to account for any variance between accounts to get a significant result.

Last edited by pontylad; 04-23-2017 at 11:11 PM. Reason: annoying work but probably doable. Seeing as you would never need to play a hand.

Party as well as at least one other tried this (Intertops or Carbon). It wrecked their sites. Among other disasters, certain players figured out how to game that system. Rarer games that rely on game starters ceased to exist - limit holdem for example.

There's 50 players in the usually 0 player $50nl zone pool alongside the fact that the $100 pool stayed at 50+ longer last night and got to 50+ quicker in the day today...I think I know where the traffic has gone.

**** this is such bad timing to make a push to HS reg speeds. I really dont wanna play 100z/200z as my main grind.

And I am sure Ignition is just fine with that. Zone generates way more rake than normal tables. As long as the Zone games are filled all the talk about the normal cash lobby reverting if traffic drops is just wishful thinking

Think I'm joining the withdrawal crew. Don't play too much anyway, but I guess was a "reg" at plo 100-200. Difficult getting more than 1-2 tables even going without it dropping to 2-3 regs and the table breaking. RIP online poker for me .

In related news, the ACR lobby has more tables going than I have seen in a long time. No idea how good they are though.

pretty crazy its just so dead now esp considering there was at least 10+ tables running above .5/1 on the regular.

I play plo8 only and the games have fallen off a ton, can ppl that play hold em and tournys also confirm that the traffic is down dramatically?

Wait so you can't play 2-4 heads up tables at the same time versus the same player anymore??
