From what I saw, yes, they are returning player funds. Unsure why anyone was banned. I haven't seen anything official, nor gotten any sort of response to query's about the incidents.

Very similar situation when bodog offered games in certain areas of asia. When I lived in Thailand it was allowed to make an account and play from there. Then they realized there were lots of winning players / foreign grinders there and they ended up closing poker operations in Thailand. Can def see this prob being same in colombia. Maybe they expected a buncha new gamblers but in first week received foreign players/grinders signing up. Still not cool. But would def be in line with their market and business practices.

Yeah, can't disagree with that part. I hadn't heard of any booting of winners there in the past, but no question that they've been making "anti-reg" decisions for years now.

Makes sense. However, there were players who had not even deposited yet who were kicked out. It appears like the people kicked out were localized to one region and perhaps even one single city. Very strange.

there's probably more to the story than what you know or what you've been told, then

Hi,

Have users banned from Perú and Colombia, different citties in each country, so it's not localized.

Regards

Hello, I've been a long time Bovada, now Ignition Poker player.

I want to ask here if anyone has had this similar problem occur to them.

This has started happening to me I think since Ignition, because I don't remember it happening on Bovada.

I noticed on Ignition, after I have clicked "Time Bank" - on some rare occasions, the additional 30 second time bank or however many seconds, never activates and my hand is automatically folded after my regular time bank expires.

Each time I can see the button depressed, so I know I always clicked it successfully.

It doesn't happen every single time I click Time Bank, actually pretty rarely. But I know 100% that this does happen on occasion, and it's pretty annoying when I'm involved in a big hand.

Has the Time Bank sometimes not worked for anyone else?

Is there a way to enable auto top up for cash games on Ignition?

Anybody had issues with getting auto-posted after first sitting down at a table? This has happened a handful of times, no dialogue box or option, just sit and immediately post in CO/UTG/whatever.

This happened today to me in the CO. Played the hand and then was dealt out in the UTG position (5handed). That's the first time its happened like that that I noticed.

I went ahead and emailed support, but I expect they will blame it on bad internet.

hmm, not going to get ahead of myself, but got an interesting email out of nowhere today

Hello xxxxxx

At your earliest convenience, please contact us regarding your Ignition account.

Regards,

Ignition Financial Services
financialservices@ignitioncasino.eu

been playing 4ish days a week for the past 3 years, only time i've ever had contact with bv before was when they accidentally 2x one of my withdrawals out of my playable balance without actually sending me the extra money.

will update i guess, probably nothing but getting something like this out of the blue is a little unsettling.

edit- i tried to log in and they've locked my account......

Yes. Buy TableTamer which will at times crash your poker client. Good luck!

too late to edit original post.

ok that was weird but easy i guess, i called them and was forwarded to account services, she asked when the last time i played on my account was, told her 2 days ago, she put my on hold for 30 seconds and then come back and said my account has been unlocked and everything is fine.

only thing i can think of is i had a withdrawal awaiting approval but my documents have been verified for a long time and i haven't changed anything

Search this thread. It's been mentioned more than once.

Do you just hang out with a couple dozen people in Columbia that play on Ignition to find this out? Or do you happen to have a few of those accounts yourself running at random poor boys houses.

lol this post is so absurd. there's a group of "poker refugees" living in Colombia that moved outside of the USA to play on pokerstars etc after black friday. Norfair is part of that group

So obviously they are selectively banning accounts in Latin America. Now we can see that not only colombia but Peru too. Now just need to narrow it down as to what all the thee accounts have in common. But banning certain ones before they even make a deposit or play, that's really weird.

Has there been U.S. or Canadian regulars that have moved to Latin America and opened an account with no problems?

Has happened to me rarely when I swear I've hit the button. I just now try and act before the time bank function just incase.
