I find this paragraph and your post in general somewhat lacking in substance and basically just a small collection of inaccurate assertions and or assumptions.
Like, what evidence do you have to support your assertion that the only reason this site is still operating is that the DOJ is busy with other things at the moment? I mean, no offense but this statement seems kind of absurd on many levels IMHO. First and foremost, Im pretty sure you just made it up. Or do you actually have knowledge as to whether the DOJ currently has this mindset? Secondly, research would show that the US government has taken its shots at this company in the past and it didnt change anything as far as their desire to do business in the US market FWIW.
I mention this also because of other assertions and assumptions you made like there being a black Friday 2.0 and the DOJ having the ability to just stop their business on a dime any time they want. Again, some research would tell you that it isnt that easy. Firstly, like I implied before, this isnt Pokerstars that will surely throw in the towel and run when the US government barks. They have no possible path to legalized US gaming for their company which is an important factor. They could always choose to leave the market if pressured by the US again but their history has been to just say **** off.
Also, the political climate and laws right now in the US are different than they were then. Although there are still forces that push for prohibition, there is much more of a general acceptance and lean toward regulation and much more ambiguity in regards to the wire act and the legality of internet poker in general could possibly make another "Black Friday" less likely at the moment.
