Any tips or tools I can use to help my game would be great, thanks!
Hey buddy. Welcome to Ignition. While a HUD won't be beneficial in hoarding stats on players long-term, it's still useful to use in my opinion. If you're sitting down playing four tables at once, it will be quite hard to remember how aggressive everyone is playing unless you plan on taking a lot of notes. After a good amount of hands (I go by about 40 or so), you get a decent idea of how many hands a person will raise, limp, whatever. So yeah, a HUD is still useful. Not to mention it can track your own progress long-term. I would recommend PT4 with the ignition card catcher.
Also, Ignition has a pretty soft player field. I was just playing during my lunch break for about an hour. Caught KK in the SB. Button raised, I 3bet, he flatted. I barreled all three streets. He called me down the entire way with AQ (btw there was no ace or queen on the board.). 3bet a different dude with AQ from the blinds. He flatted with 10/2s on the button. It's insane at the play on Ignition. Can be quite tilting when a complete moron like that actually hits something and wins the pot. Keep your cool and grind on.
As for ACR, a lot of rakeback pros on there and a lot of good regs that make a living exploiting you by using their HUD. It's a completely different ballgame on there. It can be quite profitable if you know how to exploit the regs yourself. If you don't, stick to Ignition. I would say that the higher BB/100 you will get on Ignition outweighs the 27% rakeback + smaller BB/100 on ACR.
Good luck buddy.
