Action Poker and sites on that newtwork...playing there would scare the hell out of me. Extremly shady. Something needs to be done about this network.
In my readings over the years they are borderline AP/UB-like. Serious crooks!
OP:
Allowing BetOnline (which allows players from USA) to become a skin on APN is evidence of how severe APN's financial difficulties have become, since they have been careful in not accepting US players up until this time. However, I don't agree that APN are "Serious crooks!" I have played on various APN sites for almost 10 years, and other than some recent problems involving their affiliate program, I have yet to hear of a single player that hasn't received (eventually) their requested payouts. I have withdrawn nearly 100K over the time I've played there as a recreational player and just received a payment for 1.5K yesterday. Since they have began to struggle financially, the payouts (especially larger ones) are often extremely slow (sometimes taking up to 2 months) so they are obviously stalling withdrawals to stay afloat, but that doesn't necessarily make them shady. Desperate? Indeed! AP/UB-like? No way!
So what's my point? Well, in order for BetOnline (which had a seemingly okay reputation) to become involved with such a financially desperate site such as APN, they are obviously in dire straits financially as well. However, unlike APN, they indeed appear to be a bunch of "extremely shady" and "serious crooks"! So if I was out 65K from playing on BetOnline, I would try to get in touch with management at Playsafe Holdings (Ben Johansen or Atle Bie Johansen) and explain your situation concerning their arrangement with BetOnline and what is happening to the players' funds on BetOnline. Just from reading the one email from Monty Barnes, I can tell you're going to be "rowing upstream without a paddle" in dealing with BetOnline directly.
FYI, players are able to retrieve HHs directly from all APN sites.
Perhaps by contacting APN's Live Support or by emailing
operations@actionpokernetwork.com they would be able to retreive them for you.
