Just try to relax and keep your cool. Trust me, I know how hard it is to do that when dealing with some of these companies today but you need to make this process as easy on yourself as possible. The stress and aggravation is just not worth it in the end and it's not going to help you get your money any quicker.

I would definitely take the advice of others and begin contacting some outside sources about this. Publicize the issue and let BetOnline know that you're publicizing the issue. Have you linked them to this thread and your posts here? Let them know that this isn't just being swept under the carpet. People are holding them accountable.

I'm almost so sick of you having to ask for your money that I'm contemplating calling them and asking them what the issue is.

I've never requested a check from Bet Online, but I usually have cash in hand approximately 3-4 days after cashing out via Western Union (4-5x) and within a week or two when cashing out via Wire (3-4x).

I've considered just using WU to cash out when it's time to right off the bat. I'd much prefer to just take a check on down to the bank but as we see - that brings in a whole slew of problems on it's own. I'll wait a few days on them to wire it to me and then just go to my local WU. Seems much easier with this kind of transaction today.

As for some of the folks in this thread bashing BetOnline - With the exception of that one guy who is battling to get his money back (who I feel for), I think some of these are shills from Bovada and Merge. If you follow PokerScout (as I do extensively at this point), BetOnline has closed a tremendous amount of ground with them in the past few months and has a lot more SNG and MTT traffic than both of them now. BO is now the #3 US facing site, noticeably ahead of WPN and close to Merge at this point.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong...but I've seen a pattern of this going on for several weeks now and not just on this forum. BetOnline picked up it's marketing and advertising for US online poker, it's traffic started to increase dramatically, and the next thing you know you have all of these people coming out of the woodwork to bash the network. It just reeks of bull**** if you ask me.

I've been on the network for a few weeks and of the four US networks I play on, this is probably the best one between their promotions, leaderboards, traffic, and tournament structures. If only the software was a bit better and it was supported by HM2 and PT4. Time may take care of that, too.

This network has been plagued with problem skins on and off for a couple of years now. The worst of the problems were on other sites, but even BOL has had a number of troubling issues. That said, most (or maybe all) of the BOL issues were resolved, and even the other skins have been much better lately, so hopefully they've turned a corner now. But it's pretty silly to come on with your shiny new 2+2 account and accuse others of being shills - if anything, you're the one who sounds like a shill. Not that I think you are; that word gets tossed around way too easily.

Anyway, glad to hear it's going well for you so far, and hopefully that continues.

I'm a ROW player who plays exclusively on Pokerstars.

I don't use Bovada etc. for anything, I'm not even sure they operate in Europe anymore, and if they were still operating in Europe they weren't and won't be operating in the UK given the new regulations here.

If I'm a shill then surely I am doing something wrong, shouldn't I be getting something out of it? I've just had experience of BOL in the past when I was taking advantage of one of their offers and after fulfilling wager requirements and everything else they took ages to process payments and their communication on some minor issues pre withdrawal being approved was sketchy.

Even good books have issues from time to time, not that I think BOL are a good book, especially as someone who up until now has had great choice of books.

I obviously respect your opinion, especially since it's based on experience. The thing is that I, and probably most of us on 2p2, couldn't really care any less about a network's quality as a sportsbook. I have never bet on a sport yet in my life and I probably never will. I would rather watch paint dry, tbh. I care about poker and from a poker perspective there are definitely reasons to join this site right now...especially if you live in a market that doesn't allow Bovada or Merge. It's by far #3 in traffic (BO) and approaching #2 quickly and it has the best SNG and MTT structure of any US facing site barring maybe Merge which I haven't been able to try yet.

Once we are entitled to cash out we are entitled to cash out and for that cash out to be done in a timely manner with no ****ing about. The same payment processors are used by BOL.

The poker client may be great, I don't care, it's irrelevant to the payout.

I do apologize that I haven't had a ton of posts but I am definitely a frequent reader and enjoy the forum very much. I used to have a name on here with a few 100 posts but forgot what it was a long time ago. I know, a few 100 is nothing, just saying.

I am not trying to bash the site as it has been my primary source of playing I just was seeking help as to why they refuse to respond with anything but the same copy paste email and was looking for help. I know $1,000 isn't a lot of money to some but I could really use it and just wanted to bring my problem up and hopefully get some advice as to how to hopefully get it resolved. Wasn't sure if anyone else had similar problems. They are just ignoring me and it's getting really frustrating. I just want the money I earned and the fee they literally took to the point of calling me to settle, and now are going back on their words. nutflush, thanks for the link. i lowered Java settings and disabled Internet Explorer. Last session i only had two crashes . it seemed to help though, things seemed smoother.

Trust me - Download Shockwave. That should take care of the rest. I actually have tried a lot of those steps out without shockwave and, like you last session, still had a few problems. Shockwave took care of them.

It sounds like the poster got into Free Play Hell. Accidentally deposit in the sports books if you don't bet sports and you are going to have to either rake alot at poker or start betting sports.

This is also where an affiliate comes into play. I have 0 issues on bol except software is slow really. Payouts via that "friday" check are in my hand on a Wednesday.

That's rough. I ordered one on 9/5 and it was in my account on 9/11. The past few wires I've ordered and been in my account within a week. The cashing out has been the only reason I've been playing on Bet Online as I hate their software/malfunctions. With that being said, I am aware of all the issues/problems people have had with them in the past.

No, this resolved itself and there were a bunch of other players on. Of course, 6am on a weekday is within the slowest window of traffic for online poker, though.

A lot of people care about blackjack... the sites in particular. It's a shift that the entire industry is making toward more of a focus on casino games and sportsbook, as those things make a company WAY more money than poker does.

It would be nice if there was an option to take those off, though.. even if the default option is for those tables to have the BJ table.
