Clearly it gives an advantage to the HUD using poker player, because they have incredible information on everyone which can't be done by the common human mind or by simple note taking. Surely you know this. After all, you bought a HUD so it clearly gives you an advantage. You can't deny this.
Secondly it is unfair, because not everyone gets one unless they buy it. Recreational players don't like playing online versus people that are using additional software to aid them into making better decisions. I mean come on. Where do you draw the line? I guess it shouldn't bother you if a computer genius in 10 years started selling GTO super computers that played poker for them. "Here people, buy my $100 program so you can win win win!" Over time everyone would have one and no one would make any money. Okay I know I'm going a little far to the extreme with that last example, but it is the same principle just not as far.
The game of poker is suppose to be people who have access to their chips, cards, and brain. Nothing else. No special gadgets or fancy tools. I wouldn't play chess with a computer telling me possible good moves in a match and I wouldn't expect the same for poker. Unfortunately the poker world decided to be lazy/stupid and allow HUDs to sucker people into buying them. Now everyone who wants an edge gets one... Kind of negates the purpose of having it in the first place right? You want an edge on people, but now they have that same edge on you so yeah everyone gets screwed over and HUD sellers run off with your money.
If BetOnline allowed HUDs, I'd probably get one myself. Adapt or die after all. (I think en passant is a rule in chess that could be done without, but doesn't mean I'm not gonna use it.) Regardless of what I think. It still is against the rules and if you don't abide by them then you'll probably get banned. If you do, don't come crying to the forums that BOL stole your money, because it will be your own fault.
Jezus christ not this **** again. Flat out not true. AGAIN, for the millionth time, you are actually giving up information by using a HUD instead of making notes, and watching pots and showdown cards. We use a HUD so we can multitable, we actually knowingly give up quality info, to get watered down info that the HUD provides so we CAN play more tables. A one tabling non-hud player has way more info at their disposal if they are paying attention than the mass tabling reg.
Lots of HS regs who only 3 table dont even use a HUD at those stakes, because they arent playing alot of tables like the 1/2 reg is, and dont want to miss key info.
