You can have it wired to your US account as long as the account is in Canada. Checks are too slow, also with Ecopayz you can have several different currencies if you're playing different sites. So you can wire money to US or CAD account and not lose on exchange.

No, I can't to my US dollar bank account at the TD Bank and did try.
Apparently the TD Bank uses an US Bank intermediary for all US dollar wires to their US dollar bank accounts in Canada and, because of that, Unibet would not allow my wire from them to go through.

If you think a cheque is "too slow" than don't use one, but I would appreciate the same option that 888 gives me and have no problem depositing a cheque from a "gambling site" as gambling winnings in Canada under the "windfall tax rule" are tax-free (I also get five-figure US dollar cheques mailed to me from Vegas casinos when I send in winning futures bet tickets for cashing and it's not a problem).

They've definitely got even faster, less than 24 hours seems standard the last few weeks, faster than any other site I've played on.

This isn't Unibet's fault. Blame Canada, guy!

I'm not blaming Unibet. I'm only asking for the cheque/check option that is available everywhere else I play and have played.

p.s.-- the "guy" was a nice South Park hat-tip.

- In an ideal world what would be the best solution for you when it comes to payment options on the Unibet site?
Awsome to see you guys being proactive!!!
https://www.instadebit.com/ is the best withdrawl option for canadians imo, $1.95 per transaction and 2500.00 per withdrawl every 72 hours. been using this for 10+ years and literally zero problems. Stars use it and deposits are instant.

Used to quite like Unibet Poker

That was until i received an email nearly 2 months ago accusing me of poker collusion.

I,ve never colluded in my life so was interested to look at what they were on about.

After looking at my account details it quickly became clear my account had been hacked and numerous games played (casino and poker) that day despite me being at work and no-one else having access to my account. My payment details had also been changed from my debit card to a skrill account and money had been deposited and withdrawn from it.

I,ve had many gambling accounts over the years and never been hacked once so was pretty shocked. I was advised to phone police which i did and then advised by them to report it to the Fraud Action Police.uk which i did straight away.

I was told by Unibet it would be investigated immediately and that they took these things seriously but nearly 2 months on - numerous emails and phone calls later all i get told is that they,ll leave a message with the relevant department.

What is more worrying is that i,ve recommended 2 or 3 people to Unibet over the last year or 2 and one of those was hacked as well and went through a similar experience in waiting and not been kept informed.

I,ve had over a hundred gaming accounts over the last few years and never once been hacked until this. Then when a friend you,ve recommended tells you they,ve been hacked as well it makes me very skeptical.

I,ve read many reports on Unibet (poker, casino and sports) since this happened on various sites and feel even if my account is re-opened and the problem solved i will find it hard to trust the site again.

Many people have a poor eyesight.
Make the option: " Big font size"
(Increase the font size of bets and pot in three times, please)

Usually I write, "I'd bet there is one fact that the OP left out that if posted would explain everything," but this might be it.

The other thing is how did the person set up a Skrill account? When I tried to withdraw to one Unibet locked my withdrawals altogether (including to the bank) until I showed the Skrill account as being verified as owned by me, the same person who owns the Unibet account.

As to "how did the person set up a Skrill account" - Thats a good question in which i,m still waiting for the answer (nearly 8 weeks now)

RSA SecurID, or 2fa with Google Authenticator, or even SMS would be nice.

I seem to recall Andrew saying that the only reason something like this hadn't already been implemented was that your Unibet account is site-wide. Having this functionality built into the poker client wouldn't stop someone from logging into your account through the main Unibet website.

If most of the demand for 2fa is coming from poker players and poker makes up such a tiny fraction of the Unibet business as a whole, it may not be a top priority for them to implement a site-wide 2fa solution.

Having said that, is the financial cost / man hours required to provide and support such a solution really that much? Especially in exchange for having less customers getting their accounts hacked, with the resultant negative publicity caused by the victim posting on forums and social media, as well as having customers feel more secure to deposit or keep large balances on the site and thus increasing overall liquidity.

!!!DONT PLAY ON UNIBET!!!!!

In May 2016, unibet blocked my account without any reason, after half year i started to use bad language when they answered that they cant give me any reason why my account is still blocked. I continued to write them emails but they just repeated their usual answers. Now, after 1,5 years!!! they told me that my account will be blocked permanently because i used bad language with them, and still no answer why was my account originally blocked.

!!!DONT PLAY ON UNIBET!!!

Looking at Pokerscout it looks like Unibet offer fast fold (zoom) poker.

Is this correct and what are the size of the player pools ay various limits? I am uk based so playing European times.

Thanks.

There's currently no fast-fold. When Unibet was relaunched a couple of years ago, it was in the client, but traffic was too low at that point to create much action, and the low numbers might have even slowed the game down, since there weren't enough players to produce a new table when you folded. Andrew spoke about bringing it back at some point (traffic is higher today), but I think the site has other priorities, like fixing bugs and improving the tournament offerings.

hi i play at your site regularly and i ve noticed that plo games are reduced lately,i m talking for the medium stakes.i think the reason that this is happening is because players have the option to double up leave the table and immediatly come back with 100bb.plo is a game that needs to be played deep and is very annoying to see someone hit you and run and come back in two seconds without your money.you feel like a stupid for playing here .i know that you have this rule to protect recreational players but i also see that at plo almost everyone is a tough reg,so what's the reason to destroy the game?i m sure that at plo you must change this and i know that you also can see that plo tables don't go where you want them to go..you have for sure one of the best and fair softwares but you destroy it.you must all realise that recreational players trade stocks and forex.people who chase the dream of a pro are only playing poker.you must understand this before it's too late.mpn decided a 3bb rake cap to all stakes and they have at least 5000players every evening.sorry for my enlgish
