Honestly you have nothing to lose lowering rake, atleast not this time of the day.
Rakefree hours/day would give players a incentive to deposit on unibet, enjoy their moneys and continue to play on unibet.
You just dont want what happened to NL2 pokerstars where there are 24 tabling supernitfish from low wage country's grinding a living.
But i'm pretty sure that wont happen
1. can't run unibet client on their potato computers anyway
2. cap of 8 tables & no hotkeys/ hud

A couple of things before I get into responses below:
The payments team here have agreed to look into new payment and withdrawal options for Canadians and have asked me to reach out to players in this thread. So, a couple of questions for the Canadians here:
- Are there any payment options offered by competitors which Unibet don't offer right now?
- In an ideal world what would be the best solution for you when it comes to payment options on the Unibet site?
I've also bumped the Unibet MTT thread as I'd like to start collecting some feedback before we go ahead and plan changes to the MTT schedule. This is abuse of the welcome offer and is the reason why so many of you have seen ridiculous chip dumping attempts at NL4. This should hopefully become a thing of the past fairly soon.
Is this still happening? Are you running any anti-virus software, have you updated your graphics drivers to the latest version?
It's not being discussed at the moment and in all likelihood isn't going to become a huge priority, unless it turns out to be an easy change for the devs. I will enquire though.

We don't exchange packages won in qualifier tournaments but send me a PM and I'll look into this case - if you can prove that there was a change of plans with uni then we may be able to do something.
This was an issue at some point previously and I was under the impression it had been solved. This is not ideal so I'll look into it here.
Regarding freerolls for Missions, the aim is to make these Missions as accessible as possible and therefore the aim is to have a lot of players receiving the prize. I agree that there is an issue with having rewards requiring players to log back in and play at a certain time and the structure of the freerolls themselves could do with quickening in any case.
We're trying to resolve the late regging on the bubble issue - this is a very quiet time here as most people are taking their vacations but I assure you it's being looked at.

I didn't follow this at the time so not sure exactly why they were taken away (could be liquidity as suggested by another poster). We have an MTT schedule revamp coming so that could be a good time for us to try adding them again.

There are some long-term solutions for this being discussed and you do raise an important point.
I am in favour of us lowering rake at NL25 as we need to lower the jump between NL10 and NL25. However, we can lower effective rake by increasing rewards for players at this stake rather than lowering rake itself. This will give us much more room to reward and incentivise various types of player rather than just rewarding grinders (a casual or losing player is unlikely to play enough to notice the benefits of a direct rake decrease).
I don't necessarily expect that you're going to like that answer but a high rake/high reward environment is far preferable to a low rake/low reward environment given the state of the poker industry right now, assuming that the site in question spends the money allocated for rewards wisely.

Personally I also don't like the freerolls, and rather have the normal tournament tickets, but from the perspective of the Unibet philosophy I get why you choose to have those freerolls.

The solution to this is that where your chips exceed the share of chips needed to get a seat (i.e. there are 5 seats and you have more than a fifth of the chips in play) you should just be sitting out (in the cash game sense where you are also not playing blinds) because you have already qualified or if technically possible you should just be removed from the tournament and given the ticket already. The problem is there are a lot of people who have studied the weird specifics of satellite bubbles (which have little to do with the ICM of the MTTs they are meant to be qualifiers to) who will kick up a fuss - if they like that type of thing then let them have tournaments where places 1-5 get paid the same etc. because these perverse satellites have nothing to do with MTTs.
If neither of those ideas is practical then how about more "moneymaker" satellites. So if 100 people enter a UO4 satellite, rather than the prizes being 16 UO25 tickets, it should be 1x 250UO (i.e. the highest possible), and 3x 50UO. So the qualifier has more of an MTT style payout structure and gets people closer to the target tournament faster without any of the BS exploitation by satellite sharks.
Basically any kind of situation where benefits are given in a form where there is a ticket that has to be used at a certain time (or like with double trouble, the number of tickets matches the number of opportunities to play them) then it is bad for the people who have a life outside poker (job, family etc.) and more value for the grinder-type players.

I really enjoyed the djarii stream recently, goodjob doing this.
just a suggestion: it possible to advertise in any way on facebook?
Maybe launch a facebook pokerclient where people can play free and have a shot at winning money for the real client.
or let people share a post from the unibet profile to win a UO package?
The ingenious thing about it would be so people share it with friends without being embarrased.

We do advertise on Facebook (as in, ads people will see at the side of the page) but we can't launch a play-money app on Facebook linked to our real-money client unfortunately.

You just dont want what happened to NL2 pokerstars where there are 24 tabling supernitfish from low wage country's grinding a living.
