So the rumour has it that the 3k Unibet Open will be in Vegas, right? Andrew, if that is the case, I do like the initiative and all, but I live in Dawson City in northern Canada, 4,863.5km from Vegas, to be exact, so am wondering if I can get the 3k worth in tickets...

support forwarded this email to the poker department on the 22nd (yeah!, actually on the same day, instead of waiting 1-2 days for an email fowarding) with reference 14569427.

So on the 22nd i actually see a ticket conversion has been done....
....Why, Why, Why.....i ask myself......is it REALLY THAT HARD???
So what did happen you might ask yourself....well actually not that much out of the ordinary, i usually have ticket conversion that take ages (lately at least) or don't get done at all.

In this case somehow/somewhere/because of some reasoning somebody decided to not do the first and second request, and only did the 3rd request....

In the past this actually was not really a problem, because if a ticket might expire, they would revive them for me....with all the issues i am having (yes they have not rectified my tickets after the last time i mentioned it, i guess the're still looking into it Andrew), i am not confident anymore in that they will fix it...

I will try to clarify a bit more, the second request (i did on the 20th) included a 1x 10MTT into 10Bonus line. Because this whole request hasn't been done, i have to request the same ticket to be converted again. I actually did this request on the 24th. (i also did a request on the 25th and the 26th (i know, about ten hours ago, so i am not expecting anything in that regard).
The problem is that i ask for a conversion on the 20th, it doesn't get done, i ask for the same ticket to get converted on the 24th, today is the 26th and my ticket will expire today somewhere i think. My assumption is that they will either not change my tickets, they don't change the "expired" tickets, or maybe, just maybe they will change in time and this whole post is kinda for nothing....(i actually hope for the last option)....

I really feel like when i ask for a conversion on the 20th, and for "reasons", it doesn't get done within a week (the standard expiry on the ticket) i should not be the one to blame...

Hopefully this neverending story ends soon......

Then there are some general tips/remarks i want to give;
Please let met send my request in english, i KNOW dutch supports translates the emails and leaves stuff out on a regular base (this is the only possible reason for some of the mistakes that are made). It is really silly for us, because poker is an english spoken game. So i actually (in my mind) have to translate from english (poker) to dutch (because support wants it that way), then support will translate the dutch back to english because the poker department is english.....a lot of errors also originate from this strategy, please let me send in english (and preferably directly to the poker department).

I probably actually have this email adress, but i am not gonna use it, because in my opinion, every dutch person has this awful experience and would be off so much better with a solution that works for us all.

To fix this problem in a different way i have some other suggestions, that might be helpful to you;
- There is a option of making a discussion group in google, which you can implement this feature on, i suggest somebody takes a look at discussion groups by google. This can solve your problem instantly i think.
- Another option that came to mind, was making a "ticket-converter", so we can avoid the ticket conversion request totally....
let's say, we can change a ticket in the bonus shop somewhere. so something with 2 buckets for example, on the left you put in the ticket you want to be converted, and on the right options show what you can change into. just click the option you want and an automated system will do the rest.....EZ Peazy....
....it also releaves support with all the ticket request they are having, so they can focus on more important stuff (like putting accounts on hold that are chipdumping, and not waiting a few days with that)

I sincerely hope that my requests of the 24th (14577927), the 25th (14578925) and today (no reference yet for this one) will be done before 10PM CEST, because else the 10MTT ticket will expire and the story will truly never end!!! (if you want to rectify, for the last "problempost" the correction needed is;
take 2x 4UK tickets (i have gotten to much of them)
give 3x 4UO tickets (i still am owed these))

But i can also understand if you want to wait to see if the 10MTT (and tomorrow another 4Luchticket) will expire, and how support handles this.....i would not like this very much because i requested some of these tickets to be converted on the 18th....if this goes over the weekend i kinda had to wait 11 days for that request (and IF they do it today, it still took 8 days....)

TLDR: Support is a slow and full of mistakes, and we want a better option for ticket conversions

also, i am very happy that you allow us to change tickets, thanks for this, we just have to make it work properly....

Alright another 1,5 hours gone, but this time at least it's not a free day for me, so the boss is paying for this post (hopefully he doesn't find out....) and if we can make a good solution for this problem, i think it might be time well spent.....so far the equity of this time is very negative, let's turn that around

But I could really live without table being prioritized again when time starts running out (i.e when it gets to the red and you get the warning bleep). If I've had table A prioritized once (when action gets to me), and I want to prioritize table B and get back to table A after I've acted on B, I really think table B should stay prioritized even if A is about to time out (I misclick min-raised 80€+ into the nuts the other day, when table A jumped up with the raise button right where I was gonna click fold on table B.) Also with having to click on the narrow taskbar, and minding the minimize and close buttons, it's such a b*tch to manually prioritize a table and then have it auto-prioritize somewhere else again very soon.

edit: The more I think about point 2, the more absurd this feature (bug, if you will) feels. There's no way another table should be able to jump up on top, if you've manually prioritized another table, no matter what's going on with the timebank. If no other table is prioritized (say you're browsing the lobby), then it's obv a fine feature. It's been a while since I've played on any other site, but intuitively I'd say that is the way it has been on sites considered to have good software, pre-December Unibet too presumably. Although I didn't need to overlap back when 6 tables could be tiled without everything (cards, fonts etc.) becoming agonizingly tiny, so table prioritization has never been an issue that I've paid much attention to before this client.

My troubles start after I disconnect. Have had some troubles with my phone`s hotspot and after I manually reconnect, Unibet isnt able to understand that I have internet now. I can browse web or start a video on youtube but Unibet doesnt do anything. After I log out and in again it opens the tables I was playing but I have timed out all hands and table prioritization is messed up and I cant play and have to close all the tables and start all over again.
I`ve had internet issues before but it has always been able to reconnect and sometimes I am only timed out in 1 of 6 tables I am playing.
Made a test at PS and it managed to continue the play after internet was connected again.

OMG!!!

Andrew, there is a lot i want to say right now, but i will stay respectful (not your fault obv)......but this is driving me INSANE.....

So again they skipped 2 emails (they just don't do them), but they did the 3rd request i mentioned before (the one that did not have a reference yet)....

So to summarize what happened this time;
- they skipped 2 conversions, expiring a 10MTT and a 4Lunchticket because of not converting them as requested
- in the ticket conversion they did do, they make 2 mistakes;
- they dont take any 25UO ticket, they should have taken 2x 25UO for this conversion, i still have 6x 25UO left (should be 4)
- they took all my UO50's!!!, they should have taken 2x 50UO, but have taken 4x 50UO??, i have no more 50UO (should have 2)

Can you fix everything? or do you need a specific list, with tickets that are owed to me/from me, because this story is becoming so big (, it's getting stupid, annoying and tbh tilting as ****......

also my volume of play is getting low, because of all the missed conversions and generally having to wait a week for a ticketconversion to be done, i am already taking countermeasures for the waiting period.....but i really can't calculate the amount of expected "not done emails" and with support not reviving my tickets i don't wanna be planning that tight that it might expire tickets if i don't wanna/I can't play

Hi andrew, 2 problems that really I frequently come across using the desktop software:

- after entering my username and password and clicking to log in, it often happens that the login screen just goes grey and nothing happens. I have to close the software and login again (often multiple times) before the game overview loads.

- the software handles short disconnects from the network pretty badly. When I see my connection drops out and then comes back on, the software does not recognize this happened, again, I have to shut down the software and restart the client.

Imo it is a good thing for recreationals, I don't think it is worth grinding since you can't just fire up 8 tables and start playing. If that was the case you would be unable to follow any action anyway becouse you have to click everything.
I tried playing them before and it was just not managable for me different blinds heads up and what not.

The way the software handles disconnects/timeouts should really be fixed.
I play with overlapping tables and every time, I get a disconnect or I time out on a hand, the tables stop popping to the front on action, so I have to restart the software.

This is really, really annoying and I already noticed, that I have reduced my volume on Unibet. Please, please, please fix this asap. Otherwise I'm really enjoying my experience with Unibet, but this is just so terrible.

To be honest I think Unibet Poker has stayed flat footed in 2017 when they had every opportunity to move forward. The momentum was there, the player enthusiasm was there but with the slight changes to the rewards program and the still sub par MTT offerings/lobby usability it seems that Unibet has come to a standstill.

To get things back on track they are going to have to deliver big time with the "EO"... announcing it would really have helped as Sats in the lobby with no destination set isn't appealing.

I still support the site and I genuinely like the workers but my opinion 9 months ago that this site could be the number 2 site in the business now seems ridiculous. Best of luck with the "EO" as player excitement needs to be restored.

The live tour of Unibet is only a small part of Unibet poker.
I have a hard time believing that they missed out on growth due to this.

It´s probably a combination of the quieter summer months and a lack of new features (because the developers have been focusing on the new client and bugfixes), while competitors have been rolling out new games and features.

I´m very optimistic that Unibet will grow again in September.

Also I have tinkered around about with the filters and I don't see any way to sort live qualifiers out. I appreciate that it's a big part of the brand, but for someone like me who have no interest in travelling to poker tournaments it's a bit confusing when they make up over half of the tournaments that I have filtered for. I can only find a way to filter them exclusively, not the other way around. Am I missing something obvious or is there no option to remove them?

That should filter out the live stuff normally but it looks like the filters act in the same way as -text works in the PS client filter and unfortunately with the name change to EO instead of UO it's not catching the sats. It also isn't catching the UK tour sats either.

It might be something that gets sorted in the end of month client update.

I asked for better filtering before.

Rather than "Guaranteed" (most MTTs including all the live satellites are guaranteed so that's useless), it would be better to replace that with something like "freezeout" meaning a tournament which is not a qualifier (i.e. satellite), multi, bounty, or re-buy.
