I agree, I'll put it on the list.

If you post in the community thread or mail support, yes. I'm going to bill the guy who didn't update the page

Sorry, we don't exchange these tickets.
You probably got it from

Probably best to post this in the
MTTc thread, but I've passed this post on to Robin.

Hm, do you still have this problem? I don't think there's anything widespread.

Look at the screenshot. Because of the macbook's high resolution, fonts/decks/lobby looks like you play doom on windows 98. Even on this screenshot it's not that bad because it's 1518x894. But in real life it looks pretty bad. Especially, if you start to play not only one table but 4. Look at the deck, look how many edges it has. I can tell you for sure, if you start to play 4 windows and you go to the settings like general/audio/animation they are not readable and you have to re-size the window just to read them.
Nice, thanks. It looks a lot better than this on my work PC, and that's in higher resolution. So I assume this is a Mac bug, so I've passed it on to the developers.

A couple of weeks ago, eGR asked me to take part in their 2017 industry predictions. One of my three predictions was:
Quote:
Bots become a bigger topic of conversation – Bots are better than humans at most FLHE formats, and are arguably now better than us at NLHE heads-up Sit & Go. Other formats aren’t safe – players have found bots with millions of dollars of high stakes winnings on even the biggest sites. It won’t stop there. Bots will continue to improve and sites will need to improve at catching them.
I've said a couple of times in this thread that I expect this trend to continue. The COO of our developers was Head of Poker here before me, and we agree on the scale of the problem, today and in the future. Our developers take catching bots very seriously. Our goal is to be the toughest place to run a bot.
Related, but not exactly the same - there doesn't appear to be a way to have consistently +EV GTO solutions for six handed NLHE or PLO games, because it depends too much on what your opponents do. At the moment we have, at best, approximations for some bet sizings.
But I think we'll definitely reach a point where people are playing something close to GTO in headsup situations, particularly BTN vs. BB or SB vs. BB. I don't think there's much we can do about bots there, except to look at how many GTO mistakes someone makes - HUSNG appear to be too hard to play GTO perfectly, so these situations probably are too.
I also think it helps to have no hand histories.

Well, like I've said many times this month, this is high on the priority list. It isn't that the software is heavy per se, it's that some computers are running it much closer than they ought to be. This is probably down to a bug.

T is good for hand descriptions like here on forums, but in actual game it just adds to the confusion and looks unnatural.

I think we can say that opinion is mixed here. I agree we could use different deck designs though, and it's on the list. Localising deck designs would be interesting, does anyone else do that?

Hi Andrew,
I have a lot of dump files, and some questions about them.....
I was going to do some disk management and was a bit surprised when i saw this...
so i look at why my poker SSD is full.....because it shouldn't be over like 15-20% in my opinion at this moment.....so a little research further.....
So now i want to (re)move a bunch of dumpfiles and go for a chronological approach, now **** gets weird because i see dumpfiles for previous versions??? i have dumps dated 15 december, all the screenshots are from the 17th of january.
So for now, i moved some older dumpfiles from the installdirectory onto my data-storage. Because i don't know what would happen if my disk runs out of space, while/because writing dumpfiles on them.
I dont know if you even use the dumpfiles? should i uploud them, do you read them out somehow?
i think it's a mistake that previous dumpfiles don't get deleted when installing a new version.
i think its a waste of hard disk usage this way, and this stuff actually degrades my SDD pretty hard (43.6 GB in dumpfiles in a month on a 55.8 GB SSD).
Final questions;
Can i remove the dumpfiles, or do you need them? if you need them, do they need to be in the installfolder, ie can you read them out anywhere? (i highly doubt this btw)
regarding this, i still have a thing going for the 28th of december, so i will keep those dumps for now, unless you say other wise (to be honoust i have to get back to support first on this, maybe they will sort it eventually , sometimes i have to rephraze to get a more appropriate response )
Thats it for now, and maybe i help some people who are running out of hard disk because of this
GL @ the tables!
Weird. I don't know why these files are so big. I will ask the developers.

Nothing has changed in the client since yesterday. So it's something on your side. That's how the f*** it can't be solved by now.
