This is what happened. I had six tables of 5max sng, 5 were full, 6th registered, then client froze for maybe 30s not a big deal but 6th table didn't fill up while lobby showed it had to be full. So i closed/reopened client thought all tables will pop out normally but only 1 opened lol, tried few more times same ****. I mean there gotta be a better way something like "My tournament/sngs" where you can open tables manually. Pretty tilting experience

So... Sometimes we try to reactivate players with, e.g. a playthrough bonus. This time it looks like whoever did the player selection did it wrong, and lots of people got it who shouldn't have.

Ok, done. I recommend ctrl-alt-del to open the task manager, then kill the client and try again. It should work.

This is a known issue and should be fixed in the release due next week (I believe on the 29th). Obviously that doesn't help, and it's a pretty crappy bug. I've credited you with the buyins.

I believe that the former is going to be fixed in the update next week. Auto top-up is unlikely to happen though - we don't have it because we think it identifies weak players (as they don't use it)

I definitely like this kind of idea. I don't know if it'd be a huge priority without lots of people who want it though (or a regulatory environment that required it). I don't think too many people would use it, but maybe I'm wrong, anyone?

I understand the premise, but the fact is that most of the regulars are manually topping up quite regularly anyway, so not sure that not having the auto-topup removes that tell.
Wouldn't be an issue for me probably anyway as p* is just about to remove autotopup for UK players in accordance with the UK gambling law. Assume most other rooms will follow suit.

Actually on that note Andrew are there likely to be any reductions in challenge rakeback as a result of the UK gambling tax changes?

I don't know if PS will actually remove it, it seems to me that there's still time for the UKGC to change the rules slightly (or turn a blind eye). Not really my area though.

I gather that the UK Gambling Act comes into force on the 1st of Oct. We're keeping Challenges the same in the UK as in the rest of the world. This is also true in DK and in BE, where there are similar kinds of taxes. I don't want to say this is always going to be the case - that kind of decision happens above my head - but I don't see much reason to change at the moment.

Every reg reloads to 100BB, recreationals don't. Not including an auto topup function does not change the situation even a little bit. If your strategy would be something like "Let's protect recreationals by making the regs click a million times every time they reload and have a buggy reload system so that they start tilting" - I would say: mission accomplised

It's the automatic nature of top-up that determines what kind of player it is. If auto topup is available and someone isn't using it, that player is likely to be new.

Pokerstars have already committed to it, UK players will be moved to a separate platform, same player pool though unlike fr, on 00:01BST October 1.
There will be a reduction in VIP scheme to swallow tax, and their interpretation of the no more than 25 autoplays (aimed at slot machines in betting shops presumably) is that they can't offer auto rebuy anymore and it won't be available on the UK platform.

Is the reload bug to be fixed anytime soon? It is a constant problem for me. I am not able to reload so that the next hand I would have 100 bbs. It is slightly frustrating to have a monster hand the next hand and I have 2bb's left after a lost hand. It has happened many times and I it has likely cost me already many€€€€. thanks.

Yes, but I'm not sure when. The iPad app does pretty well for us despite not including multi-tabling, so I'm definitely interested in getting it done too.

This appears to be caused by locking/unlocking your computer, and also by minimising your client. This will be fixed in the update on Monday. If you still get it after then, please let me know.

I believe it can also be fixed by logging out then back in again - it's down to timing out with the Unibet cashier.
