We only recently have the capacity to do reload bonuses, we're testing them out in fairly restricted ways at the moment. But because there's a welcome bonus and then lots of playthrough bonuses in Challenges, I don't think we'll do much in the way of widespread reloads that award playthrough bonuses. They'd just queue up behind existing ones, which isn't much of a reward.

We have a medium term solution that should fix this within the next couple of months. The long term one is the bonus shop as you say - I'm really looking forward to that because we can do things like subsidise games we want to run more often, or give extra tickets/bonus to the bigger losers that week etc.

I'm pretty sure this only happens when you've already timed out once. That's how it always is when I test it anyway.

We have sometimes mentioned this by email and via client banners, so maybe it's time to push it a bit more, thanks for the suggestion.

This is definitely our biggest long term problem. It's because we use Adobe Air. It's a wrapper program that lets us maintain one code base on several platforms at once. This is why we can keep all of the platforms identical and make changes so quickly compared to our rivals, and this is with a dozen developers.

The downside is that it's slow and buggy. We have a long term solution to this, but it's going to take several months I'm afraid.

We chose Adobe Air because we needed to be able to develop the client quickly, but sadly it comes with downsides.

And I'm on a maybe 7 years old AMD Dual core PC, don't even remember my exact specs anymore, except that it's 4GB ram and Windows 7 Ultimate (t.e. Fallout 4 or GTA5 don't really run on it), but I have never had these sorts of problems you guys are talking about. It takes up some cpu power sure, but I can run google chrome (which eats a lot of cpu power too) and Spotify on the side with no problems at least with 6 tables (maybe 8 with NLHE but haven't tried that in about six months so I'm not exactly sure).

I am not sure that a Phenom II x4 is "older" but it is certainly not the latest and greatest. But it should not need to be!

I'm pretty sure that the problem is with the Adobe Air and their programming...

However, I also pointed out several times already that the Poker client should not be as demanding as high-end video games and there should be some way to optimize things. I mean, it is one of the basic things after all, to have a client which can run more or less smoothly on most today's hardware.
Andrew also said several times that they have a long-term solution to all of this so I hope we will eventually see it...
In the meantime, unfortunately I think we will have to get used of our PCs turning on additional fans when running Unibet

the banner link in the client with february missions redirects me to www.ultet.com/... and not to www.unibet.com/... (which, if renamed, works perfectly), so re-check it

2x 50UO into 10x 1UO + 10x 2UO + 10x 4UO + 5x 10UO
2x 5SE into 10x 1SE
1x 100UK into 8x 1UK + 8x 4UK + 1x 10UK + 1x 25UK
5x 1MTT + 1x 4MTT into 10 Bonus

So if you take the 5x 4UO back, give me the 1x 25UK, and take another 1MTT, we should be straight (next time i will make the bonus a round number, that should do the trick)

the other option would be giving me another 4€ value ticket (UK/UO/MTT/Bonus), and then we would be straight too, but i think you prefer option 1 because some value went from UK to UO now

If only Adobe Air were a genuine "cross platform" solution. I could then run your client natively in Linux, and would not have to mess about with Windows in a virtual machine ! Do you have any plans for a Linux client? I would probably play only on Unibet if there was one....

heh, no it wasn't me; such is the Omaha, you have to get used to lucky rivers

I use Intel i5-4200M which should be more than enough. Also I don't get freezes like most people here, maybe because I don't play more than 3 tables at the same time, but it annoys me how the client runs choppy when the lobby is minimized, but when it is opened and up front, tables run smoothly (like they should) but CPU usage rockets and fan turns on :/

The software was never supposed to be interactive and yes, it was an equivalent of a virtual post-it note. Thought the comparison was pretty obvious and I actually know someone who used pieces of paper stuck to their monitor but it was gaming related, not poker. That said, I am really tired trying to push for it, doesn’t make that much difference to me, so I’ll drop it. Thank you for your fast response Andrew, your communication with the player base is top notch.

I can at least confirm this. I asked about Omaha Indycator here some months ago, was told it wasn’t allowed so I didn’t use it but one time forgot to turn it on while multisitting and the software has stopped working instantly. I had to reinstall both cause Unibet just wouldn’t work after that and now it is fine, just have to remember to never have it on. I was told the client wouldn’t work at all even if I had the software just installed and I’m glad this isn’t the case and hopefully stays that way.

I also never have screen or software freezes on my PC when playing on unibet 4-8 tables. I have an Acer predator (rawr ) from 2010.

Also nice that the bonusshop is almost ready now i can apologize because i was the first person to ask for ticket exchanges back in 2014 and it is becoming a fulltime job now

And something else (here I go again), Pokerstrategy is promoting unibet with rakeraces that are nog 10k per month instead of the usual 5k. You already said you are not a big fan of those things so i just report it here because i think thats not the kinda site you want to be
