I just played a little more on Unibet. First I would like to congratulate you on creating a rec friendly site

My only question/suggestion is about all those one euro tickets I keep getting but never will use. It would be great if it was possible to exchange each one euro ticket for 50 cents in cash (or something along those lines).

I've made Challenges for Q3 award fewer tickets, particularly MTT tickets. It awards more cash and more playthrough bonuses.

It's still not going to be ideal though, and I'd like to come up with a system that simply awards bonus points, and you can buy whatever tickets you like with those points. That's quite a big change though, so it'd take a while to come in (plus I have to write the actual specs first). It's definitely one of the most requested features in the thread though, which helps get things done.

I don't mind changing one ticket type to another if you PM me or post in this thread, at least until I end up spending an hour a day doing it.

Maybe instead of all those tickets you can maybe add some playthrough bonusses like the first depositbonus that you get a 5 EUR bonus and that you need to rake like 20 EUR or something to get that bonus within 10 days or so

Playthrough bonuses and cash are useful no matter what stakes you play.

I realise I'm not the main target of the ticket promotions. But when you play NL200 and NL400 and one euro tickets are raining over you 'reward' isn't the first word that comes to mind

I prefer to avoid playthrough bonuses too early because for a lot of players they feel like nothing is happening. A ticket to a SNG feels like they've achieved something.

Q3 challenges starts at a €50 playthrough bonus though, so we aren't too far apart.

You aren't the MAIN target, but you are A target. I definitely want Challenges in particular to appeal to NL200+ players too, though I confess I'm not too concerned about the missions always appealing too.

To be perfectly honest, plus mildly cynical, we don't want every single ticket to be used. We want to encourage play but we don't mind if some percentage of tickets expire.

The advantage of a bonus system like I outlined earlier would be that NL200+ players can get something useful out of it early on. I also liked a suggestion in the old thread that we let people pick "tracks" in Challenges, where one is aimed at higher stake players. That one is going to be even harder to do than the bonus system I'm interested in though, but we'll see what kind of development priorities we have.

There's definitely a danger that early on in the quarter a lot of high volume players might not want to grind up to the interesting parts of Challenges, and I'd like to avoid that. I guess we'll see what happens in early July.

On a similar theme, I'm going to write the specs for the August mission today. The difference between that and normal missions is that I want to let players choose their own path through it. This way, you can pick NL4 rewards OR NL400 rewards, for example.

Ye its not like i want every bonus to be a playthrough but maybe 1 per month and the rest of the rewards can be tickets so you have a mix between both rewardstructures. I also like the "pick tracks" idea.

How do I deposit on your site using Skrill? There doesn't seem any option for it on the 'deposit' screen (yet funnily enough there is for withdrawals, so you must surely allow deposits via Skrill?).

Lovely what Unibet is trying to do to attract the more recreational players,
software is pretty good eventho still waiting on updates in the future ofc... few things I have on my mind:

1. When accidently hitting the fold button when I can check back a pop up comes up saying that checking is free bla bla...
and then gives me the option to check or fold. There is no way to cancel that pop up in case I want to raise, would be nice to see a fix for that.

2. Something that has less to do with poker but more with the Unibet site in general is that there is only one (money-) account and that while
a lot of different games are being offered. It would be nice to have a separate 'wallet' for poker so its easier to keep track of winnings and losses.
I know this is maybe bit fancy and probably more for the more serious poker player who uses bankroll management and maybe not what u have in mind for rec players.

3. A better hand history feature. Its pretty hard to check hands in that little chatbox while ur playing x amount of tables and it would be handy to have a visual review of the last hand at least.
I know certain things dont get offered to prevent data mining but a replayer that only shows the last hand visual wouldnt harm imo.

And related with number 3, at showdown I often cant see the losing hands from players visually, yet their hand strenght gets mentioned in that chat box, not sure whats going on with that?

4. Please make it so that tables who require action get popped up to the front as now I just have to click each table
to see if its my turn if they are hidden behind another table (or is this just happening for me?)

5. Do something so we can size the tables bit smaller but the number sizes stay readable

Again no idea what kinda updates are coming up so sorry if I mentioned something whats getting fixed already soon.

Some of the problems you describe will be fixed in future updates as stated in the unofficial thread Like tables popping up when action is needed and adjusting the fontsize aswell i think. Also tile tables will be available soon.

The small bug with the check or fold is something that is not mentioned yet so that might be something that will get fixed in the future i hope

Andrew is doing a very good job with listening to the playerbase so all those small problems will be fixed somewhere along the road

I'm afraid we don't have much control over the central wallet. It's a company wide thing. I also think it's a positive really - it makes it a lot easier to manage, and one of the ways that Unibet can invest in poker is by encouraging poker players to try the other products.

A hand replayer is on the list of things to do. It's just a matter of allocating the resources, so the more people who want it, the more likely it is to make it in soon.

I think this is a timing problem - I think that hands just end after x seconds regardless of whether they want to showdown or not. I'll look into it.

I believe this is going to make it into the next release at the end of the month. I can't check from here, but if it doesn't make it in then it will for the next release.

I added this to the specs for table tiling/cascading/saving which should make it in for the end of Jul release but I'm not 100% sure. It should be in quite soon anyway.

Another thing I forgot was about the way tickets are shown in our profile, its pretty hard to keep track of all those tickets
as now we need to keep pressing an Arrow to scroll through them and with all those €1 tickets u get at the start it makes it pretty hard to keep track off them all.

Impossible to open downloaded client. Tried removing everything (software cookies registry files) and downloading again, tried 3 browsers (ie,ff,chrome)as standard.

The white loading line at the bottom just stops at 20ish %. Tried letting it sit for hours.

Web version loads sometimes after writing in details 3-4 times. (antivirus off,firewall off, ******* off) But it wont show tournaments. My computer is updated in every possible way and i work in it.


Edit : Now HTTP Status 500 - Error started showing up in the web client too.....

First, releases - we will bring out a new release every month. The next couple are going to be relatively sparse because of summer holidays and so on, but the aim is to have table priority in the next release (plus July mission etc) and to have table tiling/cascading/saving in the one after (plus an August mission that will let you choose stakes). They'll also include bug fixes etc.

Essentially because we could build it much faster when you can only use one. I agree it'd be good to use several though. The new tourney schedule has many fewer multibuy tournaments and the new Challenges payout schedule awards far fewer tickets to this will become less of a problem with time, but obviously I still want to get it fixed.

This is similar to the above. We ended up awarding more tickets than we thought we would when UX designed the client so perhaps it doesn't quite work. I'm interested in a simplified bonus system that would require a redesign (which means it'll take a while) so perhaps that will help.

Which version are you using? What's your computer and O/S? Inconveniently I can't check to see if this is anything wider than you as I'm at home at the moment. You're probably better off trying support for now.

An Asus computer with a pretty standard install of win7. Support had no clue either, friends have had the same error. Also tried more then one wlan router and 3g.

Is there meant to be tournaments in the web version at all?

Is it really? I was wondering myself as I still have one in my list at €4.49. A bit intransparent and certainly keeps one wondering about the status of that those tickets. Maybe a message indicating so helps when clicking on such a ticket.

Hi I really like the new site I just made my first deposit, am just wondering if there's any info on the rate the bonus clears, the one that is released as euro into the account 1/4/15/400.

I'm trying to work out if it's possible to clear it by moving up the ranks from 4nl or if you need to be playing a higher limit, and if so what limit,

Level 1: €1 cash after €2 rake
• Level 2: €4 cash after €13 rake
• Level 3: €15 cash after €85 rake

I BELIEVE the mechanism is that when you lose a hand that takes you to under 50bb, the ticket converts instantly to cash. I'm not sure why you'd see it on less for any length of time but that probably means that I misunderstand how it works.

Hatebreedd's right. It's basically impossible to clear at NL4 because we rake so little there. We rake 1% up to €1 at NL4 with a 1c minimum.

To rake 2k is to rake 500 stacks. I THINK it works out as about 2bb/100, whereas some sites are going to be 5x that (I think we were close to that on MPN). If it's 2bb/100 then it's 5k hands per stack and 500 stacks = 2.5m hands in 60 days, which isn't practical. I don't have the right spreadsheet here at home to see what the actual number is though. If I get the time tomorrow I'll see if I can find anyone who has raked 2k at NL10 but I suspect that's too low too. It's probably NL25 minimum.

The reason that we release it after 2/13/85/500/1400 is that while NL4 players can't get the whole way, they can at least get a couple of the steps. And the idea of the low rake at NL4 is that players move up in stakes more quickly, amongst other things.

Back home. Turns out my ticket is at 4.99 and marked as "used up" saying "Unfortunately, you didn't play enough hands in time to fulfill the playthrough requirement, the ticket is incomplete".

If I remember correctly, I actually left the table when I was below 5, no realizing I wouldn't be able to use that ticket again next time due to not reaching the minimum buy-in requirement.

So here it looks nothing was credited. No biggie though.
