Yeh, I think this is it. I think the system takes a while to check for expired tickets at weird times of the day. They look correctly expired on my side. Thanks for reporting it though.

OK, turns out that something weird is going on. You should be in the right tourney now, you should have been credited the expenses, and you should have got the mail explaining what happened. The problem is that the satellite wasn't moving you properly into the holding-tourney. We're not sure why it isn't doing it automatically any more, but you are definitely in the list.

Played a sitt n go on my ipad and the client crashed right after i lost half my stack. Couldn't reconnect and when i came back I blinded out. The swedish support wouldn't help me. It feels like the ipad client is really unstable, so wonder if its possible to get a refund?

Yeh, it's the longest of the minor Challenges - it took 1,283 hands on average over our database. I don't think I'll include anything with that much variance in Q4 Challenges.

I wanted high variance originally because I thought people who wouldn't care about a loyalty scheme might become interested if they got lucky, but it turns out that lots of people I wouldn't expect to enjoy loyalty schemes are interested in Challenges regardless. So I think the way to go in Q4 is to cut the average hand numbers down quite a bit more - perhaps as low as I can go while still making them interesting.

Sorry, afraid not. I realise this may not be what you want to hear, but I think over/under EV and red-line obsessions are bad for your game. All-in EV is only a small part of what makes variance.

Update on next client release - looks like table priority won't be in it, which is annoying. But it will fix the versions of 1.6 that are still out there (which is a surprisingly high number).

Do you know when the new release will be out?

Hi Andrew, could you comment something about the rake in heads up games? At the moment you are raking 6% up to 3€ in higher plo limits even when its played 2 or 3 handed. This makes it impossible to open up new games and keep the currently running tables alive with regs when it goes heads up. Could you please do something to this to help keeping the games alive?

Another thing could you consider changing the ruling when it comes to winning multiple tickets to unibet opens. Atm you are only allowed to win one ticket/event so I cannot play the satellites for couple of months. This takes away the players from the satellites and again is not good for the network in this situation.

It should be out on Thursday. We tested it today.

Yes. I was hoping that this month's release would include table priority and next month's table tiling. Now I am hoping that next month's will include both, but I can't promise anything I'm afraid. There're hopefully a couple of big features coming over the rest of the year so we have to fit everything around them.

This came up the other day too, though I can't actually find the post. I definitely want to do this. I'm going to push it internally then see how much work it is for the developers to do. I can't promise anything on timelines though because of the above response - we have given the developers tons of stuff to do.

We're almost certainly going to change this for next season (that is, we've agreed to, but perhaps something will come up - so I won't promise). Meanwhile, if you end up with €250 tickets you can't use at the moment, let me know and I'll extend their expiry dates. That way you can still play most of the sats if you want to.

Also, just thought I'd add a correction - we aren't a network any more, we're standalone. Nobody else has this software.

I have to say that I am a big fan of Unibet's new poker site. You did a excellent job and brought back lots of fun to the game!

Here are however some questions/remarks

Don't you fear that the "no-tracker-rule" will cause you to lose some of your credibility? As you know, some cheating methods (bots, super-users on UB) were spotted through the use of trackers. Furthermore, some players could argue that your RNG is not so random and that the tracker ban prevents them from confirming it...

Could you please update us about the traffic on the site. Did it match your expectations? Your promotions attracted a lot of people, but I imagine that you will have to slow down in a near future... Btw, as a PLO player, I am kind of disappointed with your August missions

I found your football slot promotion awesome, offering this type of game is most probably good for the satisfaction of the recreational players.

Finally, I don't know if I am the only one, but I am frustrated everytime I am all in in a hand before the river: the last card comes on the board at the same time as the chips go to the winning hand and I don't have time to realize if I like the river card or not. Any chance that we can delay with 1 second the moving of the chips?

We made it this way (also no auto top up) because we think it's a good way to identify new players. If the option is there and someone isn't using it, they're probably new. We want to avoid that kind of situation.

I'm open to being persuaded, but right now I'm pretty happy with it as it is.

I think this is more likely to happen just because it can be quite hard to see what the chips are that someone's put in.

I agree that this is a downside. But I don't think that players can spot anything that a motivated site can't spot better by itself. The problem is that most sites don't actually bother to check.

In the case of UB, the case was basically cracked because someone in support there "accidentally" mailed a complainant a list of hand histories with all the holecards revealed, including the IP of the super-user. That's the kind of info that the site has on all of its players.

It's much easier for the site to catch colluders than it is for players sitting on the tables, hand histories or no - particularly when players can change alias whenever they like. There are statistical analyses that collluders can't really avoid. You also can't choose to play with your partner on our site, at least in cash games, as you can't table select.

Things like RNG or superusers are basically down to whether you trust the site. It makes no sense for Unibet to do anything untoward because poker makes up about 5% of our total revenues. If we cheated to make that 6%, we are risking the other 95%. If we tried to cheat people in poker and we get caught, we will lose a LOT more in sportsbook etc. Not to mention it'd break stock market & probably regional laws (we're publicly traded on the Nordic OMX). Also, if I find anything like that I'm not going to keep quiet about it.

Well, we're in the middle of low season - the global market is down about 30% from its peak. This was our worst week last year and it'll probably be our worst week this year too. The technical problems of earlier in the month don't help (lots of people are still using 1.6, which is basically broken).

But when we migrated, we almost immediately raked more in the NLHE games that we had on both sites. We have more actives than we did before. We rake more from PLO than we did before (which I wasn't expecting). Unibet poker has lost in the region of 20% of its revenue every year for the past few years, but this year I think we'll have a bigger Q4 than we did last year.

I think this is partially a latency problem. I agree it's bad and I definitely want to do something about it. The more complaints we get, the easier it is for me to prioritise things, so I'll be passing your comment on.

It's the London office staff tourney, so unless you work for Unibet, you can't I'm afraid. This is a good opportunity to brag: the rule for the poker team is that we have to play every hand preflop (unless it's for > 33% effective stacks), to make it fairer for the rest of the company. I've won twice with these rules, but the first time I accidentally folded preflop once while my boss was distracting me, so he claims it doesn't count...

Yeh, one of the guys here really wants to run something like that. I think it's just a matter of time.

Hi Andrew, I'm still struggling through the Omaha pair 3 of your cards. I am nearly there now, but I believe there was another hand today that didn't trigger. Can you get them to look at 50913068. Playing as Aceacebaby dealt 53JJ flop J3J. It may not have triggered as the JJ equates to quads, but from a players point of view I have matched the J, J and 3 so I expected this to trigger, the other 2 hands today triggered correctly. Even more annoying was the 30 cents I won with flopped quads playing on a table full of fish! Thanks again for everything you do, Adrian
