I would beg to differ, not every site does. It's somewhat funny though that people complain about an opportunity to play for extra prizes completely free of charge. Guess it is impossible to please everyone.

We will deal hand 100m tonight.

This morning I shall attempt to catch up with the thread backlog. I'm not going to reply to individual posts saying that the site is down (unless they're new or ask something else). I believe that these problems are now resolved. The chronology was:

24th Nov - the problems during hand 95m were down to a bug in the poker server code which has since been fixed
25th Nov - Unibet's ISP had tech problems due to a power cut and hardware failure. The whole site (sportsbook and all) was down for more than 10 hours
4th/5th Dec - our developer's Maltese ISP (a different one) started having tech problems due to hardware failure
6th/7th Dec - we again had problems on Unibet's side where the whole site was down - I don't know the reason for this yet but I believe it has been fixed.

So basically we've had 4 separate things go wrong in a short space of time. Only the first was related to milestones, the rest just appear to be bad luck. Obviously that doesn't stop it from being a problem, and I apologise again to everyone who was affected.

First, if you have a refund request, please talk to our general support. They have the manpower to take care of it.

Second, thanks everyone for reporting disconnection of tech problems. It often warns us that something is wrong before we'd find out the normal ways, and it helps us figure out what the problems are.

Third, I forgot about a tech problem from yesterday: one of the tourney monitors died so we had some tourney lobby refresh problems for a while. I believe this has also been fixed since.

It's because of how it's built. Games are optimised to run purely on that platform. We have very similar code bases across lots of different platforms thanks to Adobe Air. This lets us have PC, Mac, iPad and browser (and soon Android) from a pretty small development team. The downside is that it isn't hugely efficient on any specific platform. There's no way to get around it entirely without having five times as many developers (and that has its own problems).

I'm not sure if we need a full lobby, but I think we do need to have a way to display the structure and payout schedule somewhere. I think this would be OK if we had a webpage with the info and we linked it from the client.

We only have one type and speed of SNG so this would work for now. I don't think we'll be adding another for a while, tho SNG traffic is up ~45% since March so if we have the demand we may have the liquidity to split the pool at some point.

You'd have to talk to the general support guys instead I'm afraid - this is a site-wide thing, so I don't know a great deal about it. There're definitely problems with depositing with a card registered to one country from another country though, so security will need you to confirm who you are etc.

Yes, agree. When we designed it we weren't really expecting 2k entrants and obviously the design includes rough player equities.

I'm not really qualified to answer this. I asked one of the guys at the developers to see if he can get me something to post later on. But it looks as if all the problems lately have been unrelated.

Yeh, it's all from the site-wide christmas calendar. They're all short lived and very easy. There's only one avatar to be won.

These are why the December mission is so simple too - it's an introduction to the client to people who are arriving with the calendar. From next month I hope to hijack the christmas-mission functionality to use as a new player mission. Then I hope to hijack it for targetted CRM and stuff (really geeky kinda-big-data-marketing stuff, just what I like).

We have constant artificial testing going on all the time in dev, but testing real world situations with heterogenous connections, client setups etc. is not easy as it sounds.

We are of course aiming to get infrastructure and client better all the time.

Yeh, though I'm less optimistic now as I forgot about the 10k freeroll yesterday (big freerolls are a lot of hands). On the other hand, more people will play. I think it's 95% tonight as long as you count 2am as tonight, but I hope it's before midnight.

Feedback - I had 2 x €1 tickets . I tried to join €1 express with one ticket but error message came up. Did that twice with error message then clicked on both tickets and was allowed to join

Thanks - this is a known one. The problem comes when you want to buy into a multi-entry tourney with one ticket. It'll work with multiple tickets or with straight cash, but not with one ticket. This'll be fixed in the next release.

Hi just on the offchance here. I've lost a bit under 20 euros betting and in mtt sng in in about 24 hours and am back at 0 balance; have never withdrawn any money from the site only deposited, so think i'm in the category of player the mtt is aimed at, wonder if i can get an entry into the double trouble tomorrow, cheers
