You got $200?

I just had this for a canceled check(notified last night) on AP they gave me a $100 credit and waved the fee for a new withdrawal but only after I asked for it.

I think this must have been some kind of problem with their payment processor. They hire independent processors, I know because they once called me like a year ago to see if I had received a check on time and if it was going through ok, they said they were just calling to make sure their processor was doing their job right. Kudos to Cereus on this one.

Was your check for a large amount? that why they gave you $200 instead of $100? I'm the 2500 level VIP and about 2 year old customer the check was for under a thousand.

I know about the scandal a while back but are there other reasons too?

I completely disagree, checks bouncing is a pretty solid reason not to play at a poker site. Although I do agree that any site caught cheating should have no customers whatsoever.

If you do... they just change bonus structure and payout randomly and on a whim. Um... well **** it you don't need more than that do you?

ive been there since the beginning of the year, highest VIP and the checks were for over 1k. surprised after these posts but 33 is better than nothing.

I gave UB some mad props with how they handled my check situation in another thread and I think they deserve a 2nd round of applause. I deposited a $1000 check to my bank that got returned 3 days later... it basically cause 2 checks and an automatic debit to go through and over draw my account. I got charged fees on all 3 transactions, a returned check fee, and an overdraft fee for being over at the end of the day.... I got with UB over their live chat deal and they gave me every penney I got charged, got a new check out that day that was sent by courier(which they paid the fee for) The whole process took minutes and I was overly impressed with the whole deal, obviously I hate to get a check returned at all... but if its gonna happen Im glad this is the stance theyre gonna take on it. Also, the check itself arrived to me within 4 days in the first place... instead of up to 15

I received 200 dollars too...but it was for two checks. It read in the account history as $100 dollars per each check. I think they issued $100 per check.

so what would be the best way to try and cash out of UB at this point? does the bank wire work well?

Took me 4 emails. First they offered to waive the fee to send a new check (lol). Then they offered $25 bonus dollars and a 27.50 tournament entry. Third email they respond with sorry we offered what we will. Woke up this morning to a fourth response and $100 more in my account.

absolutepoker canceled the check that they sent me and i deposited - see email from them below. no reason given. happened to any of you?

they credited my poker account with 480. i deposited the check on Tuesday and it did bounce today. what a rip off!!! i am not a patient person and i decided to rip them off in return

i had pending deposits with them for 400 - i went to the bank today and i "force closed" my account - thats the term the bank used. the bank assured me nothing will come through. as far as the 480 - i redistributed them on the 10/20 limit holdem table. im done with those jokers. i do hope they call me and ask me for their money - ill give them the phone # for the local FBI office.
they asking me for money is the same as having unpaid debts to a drug dealer - they are operating an illegal business (in the US) and they have no legal ground to pursue a lawsuit against me (not that they will for 400).
