Unfortunately there's not yet a system in place for self-exclusion across multiple operators, though the UKGC says there should be something by the end of the year, so might be worth keeping an eye on.

As David says above, you can go through all licensed UK operators - this search result shows all Remote gaming licenses. There's a lot of them tho

Probably best is, as mentioned above, go to PokerScout and work down the list. Request that you are excluded network-wide on networks like MPN and iPoker.

Another avenue is perhaps block yourself at the payment processing level. Close any ewallets (skrill, neteller), call your credit card companies and ask them not to process any transactions coded as gambling.

There are of course offshore sites that service the UK who don't have licenses. And then there are even shadier outfits that are "play money" sites who will take business from anyone, anywhere, any time.

I think Hood has great advice. Start the ban from your end, close down ewallets, contact credit cards, contact banks, etc.

You could also go in and modify ad-block software to block gambling sites from even showing up in your browser.

I'm mostly posting here for anyone in the future who comes across this thread looking for more information about self-exclusion. It was announced today that the online self-exclusion system will be called GAMSTOP.

So if you're reading this from the future - late 2017 or onwards - try searching for GAMSTOP and you should hopefully find an online system that allows you to self-exclude across all major license online gambling providers in the UK on a single form.

I'll follow that up .... if you EVER think you might want to play poker again at ANY POINT in your life ..... DO NOT ... I repeat DO NOT sign up to GAMSTOP.

My wife can't play online bingo or online scratchcards (for like 20p a go) because I'm on gamstop. My son can't bet on esports because I'm on gamstop. It affects your whole household (and don't they give you hell for it!), they have all been listed as PROBLEM GAMBLER and there appears to be no legal way out of it. It doesn't matter if your circumstances change, or UK law catches up to prevent many of the problems which caused people to initially fall for the con of gamstop (in fact I know from friends now its almost impossible to play online poker in the UK especially if you don't work).

To say it's been ruining my life for 5 years would be an understatement.

didnt know it affected your whole household, did know that you have pretty much never got a chance to gamble online again though
