The U.S. House Subcommittee for Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade will hold a hearing on Internet gaming on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. So, let's keep working!
  1. Subcommittee Chair Mary Bono Mack (R-CA) posted a notice of this hearing to her Facebook wall. She asks, "What are your thoughts on the issue?" I recommend we all continue to go HERE to answer her question and to like other pro-poker responses! Let's also go back to her earlier Facebook wall post HERE to like the pro-poker comments. [Speed tip: Hit CTRL-F for search, then search for "poker" and "2366". Use "highlight all."]
  2. Let's like the pro-poker posts on the Facebook walls HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. If you wish to do more today, please make some pro-poker posts there as well. [Speed tip: Click these links with either your middle mouse button or CTRL + your left mouse button to open these in separate tabs. Then, go tab-by-tab to knock them out.]
  3. Let's like the pro-poker comments on the Facebook posts HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. If you wish to do more today, please make some pro-poker posts there as well.
  4. Send a prefilled tweet promoting today's action plan HERE.
Please reply in this thread with "posted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate. The past 54 actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

======================

If you wish to do even more today, let's reach out to the rest of the subcommittee with respectful requests for them to support poker at the 10/25 hearing. At a minimum, please go to the Facebook pages and like the pro-poker posts.

Tip: Virtually nobody in the general population will know what you're talking about if you say, "I lost my job on Black Friday."

Make sure what you post is geared towards the general population so they can understand what you're saying. They don't know what Black Friday means. Spell it out for them in plain English.
