Have someone you trust and know in real life from outside the US send you the install .exe file.

Bolded because you should never run .exe files unless you are absolutely sure you know it is not malicious software.

You can still rail PokerStars. If you are receiving an update error, or don't have a current copy of the software, you can download it as quoted here...

ya just download pokerstars and log in with your old username and PW. It lets u rail and search players. U obv just cant deposit or play real money games

I gamble on pokerstars. On US soil. Without a VPN or any garbage like that. Legitimately. And it's virtually foolproof. With a catch of course.

Here is how:

1. Have a TRUSTED friend who plays legitimately, on their own account, outside of the US.

2. Send the friend bitcoins (digital, untraceable currency) in exchange for a percentage of their action.

3. If friend wins, they purchase bitcoins with the usd they have won, and send them to you.

With WCOOP coming up, people should be aware of this. Do the research yourself, I'm not a shill, just some person who loves online poker and wants it back again.

Don't get how this is different than buying a friend's action through Paypal or bank xfer.

are u talking about simply opening up a real $$ tourny lobby and watching a table because poker stars doesn't even let American rail the real $ games anymore. i had the same problem

I'm sorry, but if your betting online that a friend succeeds in a poker tournament, and he does indeed succeed in that poker tournament, and you are not buying massive amounts of drugs to celebrate, quite frankly, you are doing it wrong.

no not really, last time i tried it gave me a server update and it would not let me watch any real $$ games.

i tried to reinstall but it only allowed me to install play money.

the only way i can rail real $$ games is to have a international ip.

Why would you want to watch PS tables ? Play in another site and accept PS is gone from USA. Well, woudn't be a bad business to datamine and start to sell hands so maybe that explain why the block to observers.

You could wire money to your friend's bank account and he could wire money back and you would not be breaking any laws, least of all the UIGEA.

Paypal has no authority to confiscate your money, and, using your example, that would not be an "online gambling" transaction.

So has anyone actually used Tor to rail the poker stars games?

i just re-downloaded from the pokerstars.exe link posted above. I am now able to bring up the lobby click on a money tourney/cash game and bring up a table to view. You cant log in to chat but you can still see what is going on. At least this way you can torture yourself and watch the Sunday Majors and the WCOOOP and see how soft the games allegedly are
