Re: Team Online

its kind of embarrassing to admit chiren is on my radar at all, but if that chiren guy was ever made a pro at PS i would play at pokerstars way LESS. the poker industry is already a joke with how it is trying to make a 'celebrity class' of players who basically never play, are often losers, yet are somehow paraded as if they are the gods of pokers.

I just see the day coming where rake gets raised to the point that the only pros are breakeven rakeback grinders and sponsored "poker pros" who just get freerolled into MTTs to support their respective companies but don't actually play any poker outside what they are being free rolled for.

I just can't support a company that starts using my rake to give special deals to clowns like chiren in an effort to "support poker".

Man, just too many of you let your integrity stand in the way of what really is better for the game. I can appreciate that, but it seems you guys want to cut your nose off to spite your face. They should just go for nano, and guys like that, so they can bring in all the other good players from other sites hoping to get the same deal.

Again, how many "good" players are willing to put in well over 1 million hands a year and play 0 hands at other sites? For anyone playing over 5/10, this is worth well over $100k unless their entire volume is only at stars. Their may be some 2/4 and 3/6 players who this would not be a good deal for.

I don't know the specifics of the endorsement - all I'm saying is a clown like this chiren guy would bring in more casual players than a nano. I really don't see how that can be debated. If this whole online pro deal is about rewarding solid grinders and not attracting fish, then yeah, X out chiren.

No one called you a Troll. I just said you're ignorant and uneducated about the situation. You should learn about things before you go into conversations about them. Please and thank you. As for who you are, or what you do on 2+2 and with pokerstars, I could really care less but that is completely and 100% unrelated to the subject.
Fanboys itt, forced to stop reading due to head asplosion.

Chiren followers taking over 2+2

Even if he brings scores of players along from his videos, that may just exacerbate the problem.

I assume Stars would want the pros to represent them in a professional manner. But when I see the video of 'stacking the mofo's' I cringe.

This may be an ideal attitude for a subset of players looking to hang out, trade success stories and stack the mofo's, but certainly not at Stars while he represents them.

Can you imagine a guy getting stacked by a 'pro', then stumbling across this video later. How would this make Stars look?

Now do we (Stars) want a bunch of Chiren followers learning to chat and conduct themselves this way at the tables or in the videos?

Its not how he makes money, or how many followers he has, its how Stars thinks he will represent them.

If I were him I'd start changing the tone of my videos.

Just my opinion.

Re: Team Online

I understand the sites need players for marketing and they might not be winning players. But they should want to at least have a few on board who can beat the games. Why not make it worth a guy like Deeb's while or a cash game crusher.

Protip: He is already part of the team.
