That doesnt matter at all.
Every new player will deposit an insignificant amount of money the first time. Most will not return but some will.
It is about future revenue.

I imagine $50 since that is the max most fish can deposit unless they are hardcore enough to go use moneygram etc.

I THINK PS Team Pro is different from Team Online.... So he wouldn't be on the same list with Negreanu and Joe Hachem

Your point is duely noted, but you have to admit they reach a much wider audience than chiren.
Besides, PS gets free publicity from chiren without asking anything from him. it's crual in a way sure, but chiren counting on getting pro status was a huge gamble in the first place

I am willing to bet a small amount of money that this is another stunt and that chiren is on the team...

Re: Team Online

whoa, this thread is out of hand.

To everyone saying the WoW kid should NOT be a pro, lol @ you. Sooner or later these kids will get sick of WoW (maybe?) and they will need time to kill on their cpu. Even if they just deposit the $20 a month or whatever WoW charges people, it still helps onine poker and Stars.

lol @ having to be a good player to bring more customers in. Stars signed Vanessa Rousso (ok, she's pretty good but FU she was the only stars pro that came to mind) Tilt signed some MMA guys, and Cereus signed that Trishelle whore from MTV.

Moneymaker wasn't great at poker when he signed, he just ran hot as **** and got a lot of people to sign up. w/e im ranting for no reason, +1 WoW kid pro

Some of these people aren't signed as "pros" they're either "Friends" or "Endorsers" to the sites.

Absolute Poker has just signed Trishelle Cannatella as part of the team to be a celebrity endorser.

Re: Team Online

This reminds me of Happy Gilmore, where all the old golf pros wanted to keep everything status quo.
