Nice job with the octopuses and sharks, but I see you have HUSNGs that start with 5bb and on top of that you charge 10% rake. Good luck boys but you have quite a long way to go

Hi 39suited,

Yes, it's part of the plan in a not so distant future. But we will have HTML5 version soon that can be used via Safari. This version only supports one table.

Glad to answer your question! Keep ém coming!

Good to see you're finally doing something with your poker site.

Also, don't create new accounts to post Yeah, looking forward to winning some big bucks too! and We are looking forward to see your name on the leaderboard and claim big bucks! shilling just makes you look unprofessional, your marketing execs may think it's a good idea, it isn't.

If I could make a suggestion, offer some satellites to tournaments in the Asia/Pacific region with one seat guarantees and start putting some guarantees on MTTs. I've seen a few 'suitedace relaunches' and they all lead nowhere because you do nothing differently

You have a unique opportunity with your connections in the Asian market. I'm ready to rake a pile to you, if you actually put on games that we want to play with reasonable rake and guarantees. Good luck!

All of that said, I have actually played on Suitedace on the occasion they've run tournaments over the past few years and aside from awful software (haven't played on the new client yet I hope it's better) the experience itself was good.

Edit: logged on, traffic only 49 players, no tournaments w guarantees or satellites to live events. Software looks better but not going to deposit to test it at this stage and no play money games running just to check

Are there any plans to have satellites or tournaments with guarantees? How about rakeback, is that going to be offered?

Hi SwoopAE,

Appreciate all your feedback. We got it all noted.

To your questions, we will offer tournaments and satellites as well as a loyalty program soon. Rakeback is something we have yet to decide.

Once any of these go live, we'll make sure to have it announced on all SuitedAce pages.

Thanks - you will get my business the day you offer tournaments and satellites with guarantees. There are plenty of others like me.

To become a serious high volume site you will need some sort of rakeback, if you don't want to give flat rakeback which can make sense then a VIP program similar to Stars where rakeback is based on volume makes sense and can be better for the company's bottom line if that's a concern. No serious player will play significant SNG/HUSNGs without some form of rakeback unless rake is particularly low like on the BTC sites that don't offer RB.

Re: tournaments, there will be overlays at first but as word of the overlays spreads, they will gradually lower until guarantees are met if you do it right. If you don't offer guarantees, the fields will never grow. Gotta spend money to make money, right?

All of what SwoopAE says makes sense and considering his volume I'd follow his suggestions.

Sounds good! We'll definitely work on tournaments and more promotions as you've suggested, and of course we'd be happy to get your business.

We are running the cash race for 3 months so around that period, we'll get ready for the next promotion/s. If we've got tournaments and satellites that I think will interest you, I'll surely drop you a message here.

Thanks.

I like the race

Is there a limit of the hours of play per day, which counts toward the race?
09-14-2014 , 05:31 AM
The sounds are almost identical to Stars'.

Also the two times i checked there were 18 & 32 players playing/online.
Making a 300k rake race before you have some more players sounds strange at least.

The fake comments in here were pretty lol also...

Could at least have gotten the vip system done before starting such a "big promotion".

Lots of work to do for you.

Hi tamberlin,

There is no limit or excluded hours. The more you play, the more SuitedAce Points.

Just from what i've heard on the Australian live circuit including playing with Suitedace reps and one management guy a few years ago, SuitedAce has money backing them and is legit. I can in no way verify this, but from what i've seen it seems likely to be true despite the fact that they've done nothing for years with their poker platform for several years and it's sat there with a couple cash tables running. The recent relaunch improved their unusable software so time will tell whether this time SA becomes a respectable mainstream poker site. The potential is there though.

I'm pretty sure that given the right funding I could turn SuitedAce into an active site. You should be able to find someone who can do that. Hell, for the right price it might even be me.

Also, I appreciate the PM in the event that you offer any games i'd like to play, please do so.

Will be interesting to see how the 300k rake race goes. I wouldn't have spent 300k that way myself straight off the bat necessarily, but it's a good start and I have no idea what your marketing budget is. Have you looked into getting online ads going to boost traffic and/or giving out 100% rakeback type deals to players who sign up early to boost traffic? Getting some visibility during APAC/Aussie Millions like you had a few years ago can't hurt too... there's always space on Capitao's sleeve during major Asia/Pacific live series (and if not me specifically, there are plenty of other known players who would wear your patch/hat for very little money)

What you need to do in order is (these are some vague suggestions feel free to PM me if you want me to elaborate on anything)

1) Continue upgrading software. It's better but it's still bad compared to the industry leaders.

2) Devise an MTT schedule with guarantees and MTTs that people want to play. Yes, there will be overlays. Start small and work up from there. Same with satellites to live events. A well marketed 1 seat guarantee to a 2k isn't going to have a huge overlay and if it does, the next one won't because people will tell other people about the overlays. It starts boosting traffic.

3) Sort out SNG rakeback in a way that can be both profitable for the poker site and attracts grinders who will get games going

4) Continue to focus marketing efforts on Asian market. China/Macau obviously, Japan opening up soon, poker's getting more popular in India too. Work out what your target markets and target demographics are and actively target them. This will require spending money.

5) General online marketing campaign at target demographic. Sports sites, porn sites, whatever. I'm sure there are marketing types you have access to.

6) Live presence, satellites with live guarantees + players wearing your patch to Asia/Pacific region live events. Paying one off small amounts to unsponsored pros to wear your patch in key live events as a one off should not be a major expense (it's not expensive these days, you can get patches on semi-name players in 10k events for three figure amounts these days)

7) Rake race/SNE equivalent programs for your cash and sng grinders. You're on the right track here, but by itself it won't do anything and SA will continue to be a ghost town once the promo is done.

8) Proof of segregated player funds. This is a must in today's poker world after UB, Lock, Goalwin, etc. If you don't have segregated funds, regs like me will not recommend you to other regs who are high volume players or the casual players we play with on a daily basis.

9) If you don't know how to do something, focus groups are cheap. For trivial $x free on SuitedAce or whatever i'm sure you could get a group of pros or casuals, whichever your target market is for said topic, to fill out some surveys telling you what we want from a poker site.

10) Never lie to your customers. Don't tell people traffic is good when it isn't. It looks shady (not saying you've done this). Don't create shill accounts to post on forums. It makes you look shady. Provide a good product and reputable forum members will recommend the product as it speaks for itself. One post from me or Sect7G or any reputable 2p2 poster is worth more than 100 shill accounts with 4 posts in this thread or any other talking about how good Suitedace is, even if the comments are coming from legitimate players it won't look that way and it makes you look bad.

I suppose an important one too

11) Decide whether you are US facing or not and clearly state it on your website. I had to search your site hard to find out you're not. There needs to be a FAQ on the front page of suitedace.com with questions that players will ask.

If SA has seven or eight figure money behind it which i've been led to believe it does (secondhand info again) there is no reason not to succeed other than poor management.
