I feel as though Stars maybe put out the instant cash credits to sort of "compensate" non-UK players eventhough it's not even close.
I can understand Stars point of view, in the sense (as Bob stated above) that they are maybe trying to keep lower volume players around on the site since other Euro sites offer better rakeback/softer etc... but us high volume players are receiving the same to keep these low volume players around, with the exception of winning the worse players money as they try to achieve the bonus.
tl;dr......not fair and most of Stars best customers are getting the big shaft!!
This sucks.
I have to bend over backwards to get to SN, and now they are giving SN for free to an entire island.
Right now I feel like dropping out and play at FTP untill one of Stars promotions hits me as well.
I have to agree with MicroBob. I'm a little annoyed that somebody gets to participate in a promotion based solely on where they happen to live, while others are apparently left out.
I don't know Stars' reason for doing this, and MicroBob's reasoning might make some sense, but I expect that they're going to have a whole lot more bitter customers than they are happy ones as a result of this promotion.
Yeah, it is an interesting time to just hand SuperNova to an entire country considering there has been such clamor to make the VIP system competitive for non-Novas. Can't imagine this is going to go over anywhere close to well.
stupid question but for that many vpps, it may just be worth it to take a vacation over to the u.k. get an address, play some then move back. possible? or not?
