Firstly, it hands plays supernova status. There are a ****load of grinders at the micros who ahve been grinding all year to try and get SN b/c of the benefits. 25NL will have to grind all year to get it.

Secondly, there's milestone bonuses at Stars. If you reach 200k vpps in a year Stars allows you to buy a $2k bonus for 50k in fpps. 300k vpps u get a $3k bonus, and so on. If I got this promo it all but hands me an extra milestone bonus.

Wait, you can still buy a bonus with the free VPPs you get?

No you don't get FPP afaik

so how can a US player take advantage of this offer? what if one was to move to the uk for a couple of weeks?

I can't believe everyone is so upset. Bigger player base=bigger profits for winning regs. I hope it works out and they do it other countries, esp France, Germany and Russia.

For those that are so upset, I really have to question your motivation. Do you get that you're upset about something that has zero negative impact on you (if you're a winning player it has a positive impact). You're simply upset because someone is getting something you're not. Life isn't perfectly equatable, these things happen every day. I dont get upset about hot chicks by passing the line and getting into the club for free while I pay because more hot chicks is better than less hot chicks.

If I had never earned any points at all, approx how many hands would I have to play at 200NL to do this? And how would it be worth my while? do I get a bonus at 100K points? Sorry for my lazyness.

If you get to 200k vpps, Stars opens up a $2k bonus in their store that costs you 50k fpps. It's a reward for grinding out that many vpps. VPPs are just counters, they have no value.

This isn't a "life isn't fair" situation. We are paying customers who contribute a LOT of money in order to achieve perks. However, now some customers who have contributed nothing will be able to get these same perks without having to contribute the time or the rake that CURRENT LOYAL CUSTOMERS have to. I will be paying more rake AFTER these people have already achieved SN in order for me to get to SN and I'm almost half way there.

for 7500 vpp (the highest), you would have to play about 17k hands. the rate is around 0.45 vpp per hand.

each milestone costs $800 worth of fpps

so the 2k milestone is actually a 1200$ bonus, 3k milestone is a 2200$ bonus and so on
