Hi everyone,

I just logged in for a set at FTP, and I noticed that a lot of the regs I had written notes on, were not colored or had any notes. It seems all my notes just got deleted?!? I didn't do anything to the software or whatsoever, I always close the client after I'm done a set because I always review SNG Wiz.

What can I do?!?, Losing all the notes sucks

I've lost notes several times on PokerStars. Sure is annoying.

Ya that's a total bummer , I noticed that in my HMarchive folder, there is a folder for Each date I played, and at the bottom there is a note file (my username.xml ) for each day and there are the notes I took. Does anyone know if this is what's causing me to lose all my notes? Are the notes getting exported with the Hand Histories to this folder? or Is this just a backup file?


If i can re-merge all these files into my notes files in the full tilt poker software, I can get back a lot of my notes. Does anyone know how I should proceed?

yeah, thats super lame.

this happened to me one or two years ago, and as a hu/shorthanded player i died a little inside. i read a suggested reason involving making sure you shut down ftp as opposed to turning your computer off with ftp running. every time i have a system crash i cringe some.

I presume you chose fulltilt home folder for HEM import location, so it will import all the xml files, including your notes. You should just choose the fulltilt hand history folder for import folder.

Oh wow, thank you Shamrock, I think that was the problem. I'm gonna go check it right now.

Oscillator, I would recommend you back up your notes or use the Holdem Manager notes. After this incident, i've been backing it up after every session.
