Good idea. I'll ask in the podcast thread if they can contact PokerStars to try to get an interview, or at the very least, do some digging and have a segment on the show.

Every time I run Norton Antivirus is says that I have one tracking cookie. Is that PokerStars at work?

We've already made clear the software steps Stars takes are much less intrusive then Party, thus much different.

I just checked a player's stats on the laptop while playing on PokerStars with the desktop, both on my home network. No warnings, nothing blew up.

Re: Sharkscope Now Officially Banned On Pokerstars

For all those who are so curious about how stars knows you're running sharkscope,

it's not that hard, it's just spyware that was installed when you first installed pokerstars and then every time you 'upgrade' to a 'newer version' it reinstalls the spyware.

most software clients that deal with integrity issues have spyware for that as well.

if they wanted to they could know every program you're running and every website you've been to even if it's not poker related.

I have played some husngs on FTP (albeit only like 600ish) but I know at least a handful of players with over 10k husngs under their belt combined, and your statement is basically untrue. Maybe you didn't experience many rematches, but this isn't the case overall.

And you can't coach players at live casino tables, so I guess you're a supporter of banning online sweating?

Live vs Online poker comparisons are usually silly, especially as the main reason for decisions.
