They are trying so hard to keep the fish alive longer.MORE RAKE! Lol at the fact that they "care" about the players without the programs.

this is probably a good decision. agreed. I've been avoiding opening it while having the client open because I knew their stance was they didn't like it/weren't going to tolerate it at some point.
I may inadvertantly stray at some point- most likely by leaving it open after a review session and forgetting it's on my desktop- and if I get a warning I get a warning and work on making sure I don't do it again.

Alex thats gives the players that have 2 internet connections an advantage. One internet connection to play stars and the other to use illegal software and they can never be caught.

they wouldn't have to worry about all this if they just let us change our SN every so often

They wouldn't even need to do this - just a second (old/crap) PC and router. Most likely even a virtual machine would be enough.

I don't really see how this can be properly enforced.

Exactly. Why do they care if people look at Sharkscope? Perhaps someone here can explain it.

Sharkscope has a hud that runs on a central db?
Running that on another computer would do little good methinks.

question?

is not using sharkscope simply on the honor system?

how would Stars know if someone was using it unless they put some sort of sniffer on your PC.

Re: Sharkscope Now Officialy Banned On Pokerstars

Is it still kosher to use it while I have the Pokerstars app running but I'm not playing a game, just to game select when I see some ppl in a lobby? Or like if I am thinking of switching to another stake level and I want to look up a bunch of ppl in those games to see if they're generally good or bad?

According to stars, it is prohibited at all times -- not just while you are playing or while the client is open.
