The first day at ACR was profitable. I got great cards, even flopped Quads. Is it rigged? Back when I used Neteller to swap funds between Pokerstars, Ultimate Bet, Noble Poker and others, I seemed to get one great winning day after funding a site. This was followed by losing days. I imagined they flipped a switch to control who wins and who loses, and when. At Seals With Clubs I have never seen a changing in the gaming timed with deposits. It must be a conspiracy. All big commercial Poker sites must be rigged. (I'm only half joking.)
Good observation, and you are absolutely correct. You could say a "switch is flipped", but to be more accurate a software program deals the cards you receive and the hands you get against others are programmed accordingly.
However, hate to tell you but after youve played at seals for a while youll find things are the same at EVERY site, including seals.
Is it rigged? Absolutely.

I was just going to ask about this. I had read this a few times earlier in the thread, but was mainly wondering whether it makes any difference if you are funding vs. cashing out. I guess if there's no concrete information on the subject then it's not worth the risk in either case, but I wasn't sure.

how do u get a blockchain wallet, and how long does it take to set one up before u can use it for this buffering purpose? i'm kinda a bitcoin noob, but I do already have a proper Coinbase account.

Go to Blockchain.info/wallet

It only takes a couple minutes to set up, and you can use it right away.

It's pretty easy actually. You can get blockchain app and coinbase app for iPhone even to transfer between the two and it's instant.

There are some things you can do with Coinbase and Seals, and other things you should use a middleman.

If you want to deposit directly from Coinbase, you can just send the funds to your deposit bitcoin address on your Seals account...no issues here, they have no way of knowing it's a gambling address since it's your unique address and not some central address being used to send withdrawals or to fund many different accounts on the site.

DO NOT deposit via the deposit function on the Android app from Seals using Coinbase, this function tags the deposit with a Seals With Clubs deposit tag.

DO NOT withdraw funds directly from Seals to Coinbase either.

For withdrawals I withdraw to the Mycelium bitcoin wallet on my phone and then from there I send to Coinbase.

thanks for the information, very helpful.

Yeah, that's true. I'm not even sure whether any of the Coinbase account closures were as a result of people doing transactions with only SwC.

Seals seems to be careful and they send withdrawals from different addresses. It's other gambling sites like Betcoin that send all withdrawals from the same address and make it easy to flag as gambling related.

That said, even if it isn't necessary I still take the extra step and pass thru a new address between Coinbase and Seals. Just to be extra safe, and it only takes minutes to do.

That's a really good point.

Also, Coinbase might include an option for you to make a note to remember what a transaction is... do not put anything there about poker.

Quick question on seals. Do you need to open an account to view the games? I downloaded the client and it requires signing up an acct to view it? Also is there reason browser option doesnt work? A while back i believe i could view games without downloading client and used browser and was able to view games. Maybe this was not seals but another bitcoin poker site?

Also is there any rakeback for seals or everyone just signs up regularly? Want to know before i create an account at seals.

Yes, you need to make an account to view the games... but all it takes to make an account is a screen name and password. Takes 5 seconds.

You move up in rakeback levels based on the amount of krill you earn.

And everyone gets 50% table starter rakeback while playing 3 handed or less at a non-heads up table.

thanks just signed up.

Im looking at the stakes... so basically the buyin is what the actual amount is right? Example i see 0.25-0.50 which means 50nl, 3-6 means 600nl ?
02-06-2015 , 11:33 PM
Yeah. And each Seals chip is 1/1,000th of a bitcoin.

So 50 chips is 0.05 btc, 600 chips is 0.6 btc, etc.
02-07-2015 , 12:57 AM
Wait... so that means 3-6nl with 120-600 chip buyin. That means if you buyin 600 chips... thats $135 only? I actually that 3-6 nl with 120-600 chip buyin meant 3-6Nl thus $600 max buyin...
02-07-2015 , 02:19 AM
Correct.. at current prices a 600 chip buyin= ~$135.

In order for 600 chips to = $600 on swc, the price would have to be $1,000 per coin.

For reference if you enter "#X chips in USD" in the chat box a bot will do the math for you at current rates.

Is there a tutorial how to set it up? I downloaded fpdb and SWC client. The linux client is plug and play, but fpdb is a bunch of .py scripts... Do I need to take a few days off from poker and learn the basics of python? Any tutorials or guides out there on how to get it up and running with linux?

Haven't seen it posted in here yet... if you have over 50k krill you can help test the new client now.
02-10-2015 , 03:21 PM
And Micon posted elsewhere that it would soon to be available for the +25k krill players to test.

They are doing this correctly.

from what i recall open up a terminal window then go to the directory you have fpdb saved (type cd [where folder is stored]) then type ./[name of fpdb]. The fpdb is one of the .py files. That should start fpdb

Did you transfer directly to/from SWC and Coinbase or did you use a middle man wallet?

That sucks.

Yes, people have had their accounts closed because of gambling.

Have you only done transfers with Seals or did you use other sites also?

Did you transfer directly between them and Coinbase or did you pass thru new addresses in between?
