All of a sudden BTC jumped into the spotlight, seals already had some infrastructure and loyal donkey base and there you have your simultaneous upswing with BTC value.
The rest just looks like overlapping signal/nose. Anyway I'm just saying there's been more games running this past 4-7 days than the previous week at least from 9am-3pm BKK time.

the nicer weather is definitely affecting 10nl and 20nl. my donkeys are going outside

Start a new table. It's the move, trust me, the fish will come in hoardes.

Seals really needs to amend the way that new tables get created. I don't mind having to request tables if there are no full games at a specific stake, but if every open table at a given stake is full the site should auto-create a new table.

As players we obviously need to do our part to start games in conjunction with the above, but I think that would help get more games off the ground. I'm not even sure a lot of the players even know that you CAN request another table (especially the more rec players).

I've only been playing on the site a few weeks and I had no idea you could request new tables. I was wondering why there are so few of the games I'm looking for sometimes. Thanks for the info.

I have been playing on the site for 3 months and I didn't know you could request a new table. Where do you do that?

Also, this just in, the freeroll schedule is still AIDS. Freeroll at 3:03am.

^My point exactly.

Go to Requests->Open Ring Game to start a new table. A little window will pop up allowing you to select # of players, game, and stake. It's not a bad feature to have, but there is no way in hell that it should be the only way tables are created.

04-02-2014 , 03:10 PM

False.

Cashout requests take on average 12 hours and can take as long as 24 hours to process.

Alternately you can sell chips in the lobby for GDMP or Moneypak and the like (or paypal if you like to be robbed) but you must be VERY VERY careful when engaging in those kinds of transactions.
04-02-2014 , 04:06 PM
Cashout times for me are typically 6-24 hours for Seals Chips->Bitcoin Wallet, 3 days for Bitcoin->USD. So, much better than any other site, but definitely not 1 hr.
04-02-2014 , 07:49 PM
I think he means once it's been approved by Seals it gets processed in <1hr. So the total time from the second you hit the withdrawal button depends on how long it takes Seals staff to get to your cashout and make sure everything's legit. I've never had longer than overnight.

I know about the procedure for starting new tables but only because I followed this thread and somebody else posted about it months ago when I asked about no 6m tables running.

I never play cash games but I think there is a very decent table starter rake back so u guys should def consider opening tables more often.

Edit: correct me if I'm wrong

This guys, seriously. I can't count how many mornings I've saved for myself when it looks like there's nothing going on even in prime time. Today for example around 10pm EST there was only a single NL100 table and no 200 or 400. I just got in there played some HU and had 7 tables running within minutes. I happens a lot faster than you'd think.

To give a specific example. I only ended up getting in 89 hands 3-handed and 114 HU out of 2163 total hands in my session. That's less than 10% of the grind HU or short handed. This 8-10% is actually typical when I checked my whole database.

Same goes for tables breaking. Just stay....they refill quickly. Cryptocurrency online poker is the future, lets do our part, this site could be really great.

Agreed that however tables get created, we need to do our parts as players to start games and stay when tables start breaking. It's a little ridiculous how few players currently do that.

I did e-mail Seals about the table auto-creation, basically suggesting that if all tables are full (or nearly full) tables should be auto-created, this was their response:

Quote:
We're actively looking into an auto-launcher system behind the scenes
that finds games very similarly to how you spec out. We'll keep the
current launcher in place and just couple it with the intelligent
auto-launcher too.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sorry that it's not already implemented.
Doesn't seem like that should be too hard. Hopefully this will happen soon, and that will help things a bit IMO.

I'm looking forward to this weeks plo8 tournaments as I will finally have a bankroll to work with once my account sells.

Also is there any way to become an affiliate? Or is it too late?

If everyone just comes together and starts a bunch of tables we can turn seals into a sweet ass site where all the fish wanna donate their coin
04-04-2014 , 04:40 PM
Bitcoin is great for us USA players. I just hope Seals isn't pulling a Full Tilt.

What makes you think they're pulling a full tilt?

Have faith in Micon

Someone mentioned on reddit about a fractional reserve of players's funds. Could be true. there are ways of disproving that.

I don't know Micon. Do you?
04-04-2014 , 06:37 PM
I do not. I guess if I was playing with anything but profits I may be concerned. Although I do think we should all learn from FT and not keep more money online than you'd be willing to lose
04-04-2014 , 06:38 PM
Certainly need more people to start tables Only a few willing to play short handed 2/4 to 5/10 games.

I'm no HU specialist but manage to show a good profit starting tables and some weeks i get up to 1 Bitcion in rake-back, due to 50% table starter rake-back.
