Because that would be redundant up to 10bb and a mix of redundant and illogical between 10-20bb. The 1bb and 5bb serve their purpose very well from what I can see. So nobody has a need to add or change anything. I was just looking at some of those 1bb and 5bb tables running today and smiling when I see some familiar names, some of my most valued donators.

What type of stakes do you play Fantaz? Guys like Ba*st* for example. I have a 1677 hand sample on him where he's up 387,000 chips playing 250/500 5bb. That's close to a quarter million USD in winnings. He's flipping for a lot of $25,000usd pots. Is he ******ed? Probably not. He enjoys fast and constant action, not folding 75% of his hands. That's his preference. How much money do you make every month at poker? If he was ******ed, I doubt he'd be able to throw around that kind of money. Even Phil Ivey is well known for blowing enormous sums on casino games, I don't think he's ******ed either. Should Ba*sti go "kill himself" as you suggested. I doubt it. He's prob pretty content being so rich and successful that he can throw around 6 figure sums regularly on 5bb tables. I think it's more likely he looked at your situation and wondered how you possibly carry on with life?

Yes guys like this love to gamble. But I don't think he would ever sit at "your table" because you probably couldn't afford to play with him. Which tables are "your tables" by the way? I for one am impressed with the kind of action junkies, especially rich ones, those 5bb tables have brought in. Good on Seals. Much better they play 5bb Holdem here than highstakes blackjack over at Bodog ect ect.

You seem even more confused about the 5bb tables splitting up the player pool. Guys who enjoy deeper poker, will not cross over to the 1-5bb tables, I for one haven't played a single hand at those tables. But guys who like to play the 1-5bb tables will almost always at some point cross into the deeper tables (especially if they can't get any action).

^ +1 It's not like there's ever a 5 or 1 bb table that's running full nonstop, people pop in there for 10 minutes, get their gamble on and then go on to other things like full stacked tables. I usually see them run 4-5 handed max and people don't stay long except occasionally at the nosebleeds.

How many hands/hr is SWC roughly?

both 6max and fr respectively.

I'm getting "connection limit has been reached..." When trying to login now. That's a new one for me. Anyone else?

I don't have detailed stats with me on it, but I would say 6 handed tables probably run 20-25 hands per hour.

I don't play much full ring, but I would imagine that it runs 15-20 per hour.

These are at the lower 10 and 20 NL levels. Can't speak for higher levels.

I easily get in 80-100 hands/hour at 50nl 6 max. 10/20nl is around 60-80

Anyone have anything on how many krill you earn per hand at each stake?
03-26-2014 , 12:30 PM
It took me like 50k hands to earn any rakeback so not much. I guess that averages out to .1 krill/hand. This is at 10 and 20nl though

Anyone know if they are working on updating the lobby so you can see what tables you're already on? Like a star, or a highlight of some sort?

Maybe if you didn't sit so many tables that wouldn't be a problem gerb!

Here's those Gerbera Daisies I was telling you about.

Speaking to ebffs' argument, I've played anywhere for .05/.10nlhe to 10/20nlhe over the past decade. Sometime early last year, I saw a 5bb game going that was equivalent to 30/60nlhe USD at the time. I sat and played for a while knowing that my exposure was only really for $300 chunks. I never would've sat that high at the time if it had been a 100bb game.

took me 60k hands to get 4.4k krill at 10NL, 6max and 9max pretty evenly mixed. 4400/60000 = 0.073333333

Wish this site would get more traffic. Seems stuck at ~450 players every night.
03-31-2014 , 10:44 PM
the traffic has really sucked lately.
04-01-2014 , 12:12 AM
30% March winnings wiped out by BTC drop, then the rest wiped out by the value of your roll dropping. What's not to love? Traffic has picked up more lately over the last few days though if you're playing prime time hours.

Bicoin price go down, traffic on Seals go down.
Bitcoin price go up, traffic on Seals go up.
There is relationship between those 2.

I've found the opposite at least this week. Traffic has been above average lately. At least at 0.5/1 to 2/4.

Sure? That really surprises me... I have always thought that traffic on these websites were strongly related with the price of the coin...the lower the price the lower the traffic.

^^^ you have to normalize for spring /summer trend .. poker will lose 10% or so of players between now and Sep. Maybe less for a small site site like seals, but I'm sure the are seasonal effects.
04-01-2014 , 03:15 PM
Hoping to buy some more coin while price is low. I think I did pretty well with my 30 chips by surviving over a month with them lol. But recent my downswing picked them off lol. reload time with a proper roll.

That is surprising to me.

I would've thought that cheaper bitcoin would increase traffic, as it reduces the cost of a single SWC chip in fiat. This to me would make it easier for folks to buy in.

I'm still not entirely convinced, but I guess we'll see. I know part of the SWC downturn was due to their site being down for a few weeks earlier this year.

Reliabilty has been very good lately though, I can't remember being disconnected...

There's plenty of 0.5/1 games running usually at night, come join everyone!

When the Bitcoin rocket ship is happening, they're in the news more and people are more interested. They acquire them and want to acquire more.
