I'd say the last handful of posts have been right on the money. Simple case of freerolling gone horribly wrong but completely expected. Of course he couldn't stop when he was up to 11k..he could see $20k being so close and started having wet dreams about $100k then reality bitch smacked him.

We've pretty much removed the clutter and are driving to the heart of the matter.

Not much to update. hambone still says he was hacked, clamper has been in contact with him trying to get to the bottom of it but he (clamper) didn't have internet for a couple days and I haven't heard from him for 4ish days

That sucks man, I got the impression from reading Clamper's posts that maybe he was reaching out to him to try and make things right, not just keep denying everything.

Merge finally got back to me with their opinion that he was not hacked (the account was always played from the same IP address his account usually was, plus the duration of time it took to lose the 8k normally a hacked freeride is a matter of hours not days). They froze his account, and told me there is 49 cents in it.

I emailed Eric Hardt (hambone4k) this information and that he needs to hold up his end of the agreement and pay me the 8k.

We'll see what he says. His last activity of 2+2 was yesterday at 12:56pm so he's clearly around, no excuses for him not to respond.

The more pressure on him the more likely he is to pay up IMO.

Merge froze his account after there was so much activity in it. I wonder if hambone4k even emailed Merge in the first place. Why did Merge wait so long to lock the account? Almost pointless now when there is only 49 cents in it.

Hambone4k (Smittty1717 on Lock) agreed to trade his $7,360 for bcgt178 (DutchBook on Lock)'s $8,000 in Lock funds. Hambone4k quickly lost most of the money, and has been claiming to be hacked despite all the play being from the same IP as he's always used.

It's a lot like what Cornell Fiji did when he ripped Admo off, if you followed that saga.

They could do that but they claim he only has like 49 cents left. They should have locked his account awhile ago when he still had something left to take.

I still dont understand why his account was allowed to play for days after the scam took place. The scammer obviously didn't contact lock, but why didn't the victim email lock requesting the scammer's account be frozen?
