Request for Mac OS X Users regarding Ongame Network

Hi Mac Poker Players,

If you play poker on the Mac, and play on the Ongame Network, you've probably noticed that none of the Mac OS X hand tracking software gives you a HUD. This is due to strange things happening when one tries to programmatically find out an Ongame poker table window name.

If you'd like to see this fixed, please email the support contact address for one (or more) of the Ongame Network partners:

HeyPoker: support@heypoker.com
Winamax: support.fr@winamax.com
bwin: use form at https://home.bwin.com/page.aspx?view=contact

I wrote about the issue here and here some months ago. Feel free to include the link or the text from the link in your email.

Thanks for your help!

(Hey Poker Tracker and Xypto developers: can you encourage your users to read this thread and contribute? I figure the more people who ask for this to be fixed, the quicker we all win).

Steve from Poker Copilot.

Might also email
http://www.ongamenetwork.com/
I think all those sites just lease the software.

Why would Ongame help you get HUD to work? They are better off if none of their players used it.

You need to deal with PT3 or HEM

@lozen,

I'm a developer of HUD software, not a HUD user.

I'm hoping that _everyone_ who would like to use a HUD on Ongame Network with Mac OS X will mail the tech support at these poker rooms. Then Ongame will hopefully fix the problem with their software which stops HUD software from getting window information.

@aquickone,

I checked that site but they don't seem to have any support email addresses. I think we need to go through the partner sites.

Re: Request for Mac OS X Users regarding Ongame Network

The only lite motive I see, with changes ongame is making, is we want players to use as few tables at one time as possible for us to still be profitable. So your request, or anyone elses regarding HUDs and such, will fall on deaf ears.

And since BWIN owns ongame, as far as I know, this makes sense too.
They dont want their tipsy, will just place a bet or two and maybe some poker as well, casuals, fall prey to pro poker players, as they see it.

Just my take on it, but yeah gl

Here's a form letter you can use:
---
Dear support team,

I'm using your poker room software on Mac OS X. I want to use poker tracking
software that has a HUD to help me play better. However the poker tracking
software team reports that there is a problem in the Ongame Network software,
which prevents an application from tracking the Ongame Network poker tables on
Mac OS X.

This problem can be seen when you try to use Mac OS X's Accessibility
Inspector to get info on an Ongame Network window. It freezes up the
Accessibility Inspector for about 10 seconds at a time.

I hope you can look into this soon. Thanks for your help.

Regards,

[your name]

Bump!

All Ongame players on a Mac should really send an e-mail to your customer service!

btw: where can I find the hand histories on mac os x? I used to find them through --> "go to" --> "go to folder" --> typing ".p5". In this way I could find the hidden folders. But this doesn't work any longer. Any ideas?? Thanks

Re: Request for Mac OS X Users regarding Ongame Network

Hi Steve,

I played on Ongame for 3 years, stopped when they came out with their 'long-awaited' upgrade 2 years ago. Mostly because just looking at the software tilted me. But also because they just don't give a fligg about their user's problems or comments. Amazingly bad.

So I don't have much hope that you succeed in your mission of establishing meaningful contact. But good luck and keep up the good work w/PCP!
