sent in my docs over a week ago to get my stars.fr account running and received this email today.

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, we can confirm that from February 13, 2017 only residents of mainland France and its overseas territories can play on PokerStars.FR. This reorganisation is made in an effort to adapt to a constantly changing environment.

Players based outside France are welcome to play on PokerStars.COM, the world’s largest online poker site, or at other PokerStars licensed websites subject to local laws and regulations of the country in which they reside.‎

If you do not reside in France and its territories, you will be unable to register your .FR account to another license. You will need to withdraw your balance and assets from your PokerStars.FR account and instead use an account in the license applied to your location. If you do not have an existing account in the license of your location, you will need to create one in order to play.

Your account assets are safe and secure with us:

- You real money balance is available for withdrawal via the Cashier.
- If you have any unused T€ and/or Tournament Tickets in your account, they will automatically be converted into their equivalent cash value upon entering the Cashier from February 13, 2017.
- You are welcome to use your StarsCoin to purchase any items from the VIP Store, with the exception of online tournament tickets. Any funds resulting from these purchases will be immediately available for withdrawal.
- Tournament packages and buy-ins won or otherwise earned on PokerStars or Full Tilt will be honored.

only thing i can figure is this is to comply with new regulations when they link up

That would be a dream for UK players, not sure we'd be included though - the current set-up seems to keep everyone happy (and we'd have probably heard about UKGC consultations by now).

I've been saving it but I think I'll use my "one time!", don't let me down poker gods.
