Fine, but is there a link that positively refutes the story? Again, has anyone contacted the NY State AG's office?

Again, I'm surprised this eChecks story doesn't have more legs. Not much chat about it on the usual blogs and online forums.

What is your point about the DOJ? Shouldn't that overhaul have been favorable to online poker, at least according to the conventional wisdom on here and FanboyFives?

There has to be a way to track filings by the state AG's office. It should be easy to vet.

A story on P5 says that Minnesota has withdrawn its request to block 200 domain names. Included in that list were many big poker sites.

The story is titled Minnesota Reverses Internet Gambling Ban.

Re: EChecks unavailable at pokerstars

Who here has the most recent echeck hit their account? Have there been any in the past 10 days? I am assuming the latest one dates back to mid may? Im waiting a 6/1 cashout.

lol. rugby scholarship.... really? at harvard. could you be lying?

Just because Obama is pres doesn't mean the guys who don't like us aren't still at the DOJ. Some of the top guys were put in by Obama, but this might not be a top guy/might not be at the DOJ/might not have anything to do with the US Gov.

The fact they haven't released a press release seems to be good. I'd think going after companies they deem to be acting illegal and seizing funds would be great PR in their opinion. When Neteller went down it was all over the place.

The very fact that Stars is completely hushed about the "technical issues" affecting eChecks speaks volumes to me. Sometimes there is more in what someone doesn't say than what they say.

I think this is probably bad.

So Ivy League schools are giving athletic scholarships now? When did that happen?

Why can't Stars just say "Hey guys, we're looking for another processor," instead of all of this obfuscating? I've always given credit to Stars and FTP for having balls and hanging in there with USA players. They didn't play chicken **** like Party did. So why would they be afraid now to be truthful with their customers?

While Ivy League schools don't give out athletic scholarships, they give out scholarships and other aid so that it will cover a coveted athlete's schools expenses. Basically, it's a full athletic scholarship. They just don't call it that. Semantics really.

They will also reduce the GPA needed to accomadate.
